Optical field was numerically simulated in active resonator by effective frequency method in cylindrical coordinates. The variables separation method was used for 3D wave equation resolving. Longitudinal and transverse mode distributions were calculated with corresponding wavelengths. We conclude from these results, that in a AlGaAs/GaAs/InGaAs CC-VCSEL a two-frequency generation is possible, with the spectral interval between the two longitudinal modes varying from 0.08 to 50 nm, depending on the construction of the middle mirror of the device. This interval is limited by the Bragg mirrows refraction coefficient stopband, thermal effects, device manufacture precision. We also make some recommendations for the optimal CC-VCSEL design","PeriodicalId":370622,"journal":{"name":"2006 International Workshop on Laser and Fiber-Optical Networks Modeling","volume":"61 5","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2006-12-04","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"113977970","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The measurements of bulk conductivity were realized within 20-100 degC temperature interval. The conductivity in the samples of KDP was found to essentially decrease with an increase of gamma-irradiation dose. The temperature dependences of dc conductivity in the crystals were measured, and numerical values of the activation energy for conductivity were calculated. As follows from the data obtained, in the process of gamma-irradiation noticeable changes of the conductivity parameters take place.
