One of the most noticeable effects is in the business world, where the adaptation of new work patterns and behavior follows government policies, where non-essential offices are encouraged to use the work from home method. This activity, in the form of community service (PKM) via an online webinar using Zoom media, aims to provide information, education, and knowledge to the larger community. Organizational management must invariably quickly and precisely adapt work methods that can be accepted and carried out by employees. On the one hand, this method of working from home has made it possible for workers to work remotely and to do more than one job, or to do multitasking jobs. On the other hand, this method of working from home is consistently proving to be unsuitable for this type of work. In practice, this activity is divided into three sessions: a theoretical presentation of the concept of work behavior by the first speaker; an explanation of adaptation trends and work patterns during a pandemic from scientific publications by the second speaker; and an explanation of how to find trends in novelty and work adaptation by the third speaker. Third-party presenters use dimensions, bibliometrics, and VOSviewer. In addition to the presenters' good mastery of the material, the participants thought the materials and activities provided had good elements of accountability, objectivity, and transparency. Furthermore, the participants thought the material presented to them was of high quality","PeriodicalId":370293,"journal":{"name":"Jurnal Pengabdian dan Kewirausahaan","volume":"51 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-10-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"114592491","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Besides being used as a compulsory subject/college in schools and universities, English lessons are studied in the context of vocational education to bridge the world of education with the needs of industry and the workforce on a national, multinational, and international scale. The high need for a competent workforce, which can be seen from the ability to speak English, presents a variety of specific subjects in line with this condition. The subject variant in question is business English or 'business English'. Referring to this condition and examining the need for vocational education, Community Service activities (ABDIMAS) are carried out with the theme 'Introduction to Business English'. ABDIMAS is held at the Almakiyah Vocational High School (SMK) in East Jakarta. ABDIMAS was carried out in response to the needs of partners who felt that the English learning materials did not meet the needs of students and graduates who were required to be absorbed in the world of work. ABDIMAS is carried out through three sessions of a hybrid online and offline enrichment program for students. Each session is taught about what aspects are included in business English and linguistic aspects commonly used in business and work contexts. This activity is oriented towards increasing the knowledge and insight of the participants regarding (i) business conversations, (ii) formal and informal expressions in business communication, (iii) basics of email writing. The activity ends with an evaluation that broadly shows that the activities are carried out in line with the work context so that they do not focus on the theoretical and implementation levels.","PeriodicalId":370293,"journal":{"name":"Jurnal Pengabdian dan Kewirausahaan","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-10-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"124662666","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The root of it all is that every company has problems with organizing the various powers within the company. This is realized by PT. Serena Indopangan. Realizing the importance of analytical thinking, the company conducts an “analytical thinking” seminar for employees from the coordinator to the director level. The seminar aims to foster analytical and creative thinking of employees to solve problems in carrying out their daily work. By realizing that they have many potential strengths and complement each other's weaknesses, each company is always directed to achieve success. Everyone in the company has their own strengths and weaknesses, both in terms of physical, emotional, intellectual, talent, and spiritual aspects. Leaders must be able to maximize the strengths of their subordinates and encourage their weaknesses to complement each other so as to produce a new strength for the company's success. Success is achieved, not by the leader's egocentric way of thinking, but the ability to think from the point of view of the strengths and potentials of subordinates. The leader's job is to manage the intelligence potential of the subordinates for the betterment of the company. The ability to think analytically is the ability to manage various subordinate strengths in a comprehensive and professional manner. A good leader does not measure success based on his own strength alone, but his ability to manage the various potential intelligences possessed by all actors under his control. That is the essence of analytical thinking in dealing with problems within the company.","PeriodicalId":370293,"journal":{"name":"Jurnal Pengabdian dan Kewirausahaan","volume":"5 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-10-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"117020404","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This includes the impact on people's information, product, and service consumption patterns. People spend more time at home because of social restrictions imposed to limit the spread of COVID-19. This is also gradually indicating opportunities for industry participants to deliver advertisements for their products or services via online media. The purpose of this study is to identify and analyze the determinants of attitudes toward advertising using ad content and advertising value. As an analytical tool, this quantitative study employs Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) with SMART PLS. This study included 150 millennial YouTube users as participants. According to the findings of this study, ad content has a significant impact on advertising value. Furthermore, this study explains how ad content influences consumer attitudes toward advertising. The study's next finding explains that advertising value has no effect on attitudes toward advertising. This study explains, on the indirect effect, that advertising value does not mediate the relationship between ad content and attitude toward advertising. Other variables, such as advertising provider credibility and public saturation of COVID-19, can be suggested for future research.","PeriodicalId":370293,"journal":{"name":"Jurnal Pengabdian dan Kewirausahaan","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-10-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"116975149","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This phenomenon causes the high urgency of linguistic competence. This existence has also sporadically triggered the emergence of various foreign language courses in Indonesia. However, this phenomenon seems to be shifting along with the outbreak of the Covid-19 virus. The pandemic era forced foreign language institutions to survive financially to cover operational costs as a result of significant changes before and after the pandemic. However, financial problems are not the only problems foreign language course institutions face—changes from conventional learning models oriented from face-to-face learning to online-based learning. Creating a language course institution changes the various dimensions in it. Research on various problems of foreign language courses in the pandemic era was conducted qualitatively through interviews and Focus Group Discussions (FGD) involving entrepreneurs of intensive foreign language courses in the Tangerang area and its surroundings. Through FGD, it was found that it was necessary to make massive and simultaneous adjustments by course institutions in this pandemic era. The adjustments referred to include changes in teaching methods and techniques and adjustments in terms of promotion. The findings in the FGD will be further developed through an enrichment program involving various parties, including students, teachers, and business owners, for intensive foreign language courses. Community Service Activities (PKM) are expected to have implications for competitiveness data and the ability of foreign language course institutions to survive during the pandemic but still maintain quality.","PeriodicalId":370293,"journal":{"name":"Jurnal Pengabdian dan Kewirausahaan","volume":"27 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-12-31","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"126314276","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

It is mostly produced by residents who live close to the sea. Besides being sold in large quantities to collectors, salted fish can also be sold independently by salted fish producers. This activity aims to identify the needs of salted fish producers in Kali Baru, Cilincing, North Jakarta, for increasing the selling value of salted fish. This is important so that salted fish producers receive better compensation for the salted fish produced. A community service team from Universitas Bunda Mulia carried out field observations to identify needs of producer partners. The team observed that partners needed more “irik” bamboo mats, especially when fish arrive in large quantities, so that fish could be dried in one batch. Additionally, for the boiling process of small fish, partners need “laha” baskets to support the optimization of the process. To increase the selling value of salted fish, partners need educational counseling support for making labels and packaging for their products. They could also benefit from counseling on how to sell salted fish online, especially in an online marketplace. After identification of the needs of salted fish producer partners, continued community service is planned to address these needs.","PeriodicalId":370293,"journal":{"name":"Jurnal Pengabdian dan Kewirausahaan","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-12-31","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"133857669","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Meanwhile, at the same time, consumers were also constantly being “pushed” by these same parties to play a more active role in ensuring that the negative impact of these business activities toward the environment won’t escalate by stop consuming, buying or using non-green product which is not sustainable and could bring a dire impact toward the nature and the surrounding environment in the future. Therefore, this community services activities were designed or conducted in order to give some information, suggestions, or understanding to both businesses and consumers, not only in order to ensure that both of these parties will fully understand the main concept of green business, but also in order to ensure that both parties will eventually and actually conduct both of their businesses and consumption activities in a more sustainable way","PeriodicalId":370293,"journal":{"name":"Jurnal Pengabdian dan Kewirausahaan","volume":"32 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-12-31","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"125864336","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In business terms, inventory management means the right stock, at the right levels, in the right place, at the right time, and at the right cost as well as price. Inventory management refers to the process of ordering, storing and using a company's inventory. This includes the management of raw materials, components and finished products, as well as warehousing and processing such items. For companies with complex supply chains and manufacturing processes, balancing the risks of inventory gluts and shortages is especially difficult. At the same time, inventory can be thought of as a liability (if not in an accounting sense). A large inventory carries the risk of spoilage, theft, damage or shifts in demand. Inventory must be insured, and if it is not sold in time it may have to be disposed of at clearance prices or simply destroyed. For these reasons, inventory management is important for businesses of any size. Knowing when to restock inventory, what amounts to purchase or produce, what price to pay as well as when to sell and at what pric can easily become complex decisions. One of the interesting businesses in this sector is a coffee shop. The growth of this coffee shop business indirectly contributes to the national economy. Coffee consumption in Indonesia can also directly shape the pattern or lifestyle of consuming a variety of coffee, one of which is the style of consuming coffee in a coffee shop. This has also shaped the increase in the number of coffee shops in Indonesia. From an entrepreneurial perspective, this phenomenon is an opportunity that can be exploited. However, not all coffee shop entrepreneurs see this situation. With the existing phenomena, this study aims to analyze the performance of the coffee shop business using exogenous variables, namely market orientation, entrepreneurial orientation, and innovation. This research is a quantitative research using regression analysis using SPSS. The sample in this study was 75 coffee shop entrepreneurs in Pantai Indah Kapuk (PIK), Jakarta. The results of this study explain that all hypotheses are accepted. Market orientation in this case affects business performance. Likewise with the entrepreneurial orientation that affects business performance. Furthermore, innovation also affects business performance of coffee shops in this region. Simultaneously, each exogenous variable affects business performance at PIK. The overall results of this study are also still relevant and in line with several previous studies. From these results it can be explained that making strategies and making decisions that affect business performance. In addition, pay attention to competitors' strategies by understanding competitors' strengths and weaknesses.
