Según el testimonio de muchos de sus lectores, particularmente de aquéllos que no tienen un vínculo cercano con el país natal del gran fabulador, en un primer acercamiento a su obra predomina el asombro ante su escritura—llena de imaginación y de exageración rabelesiana—, lo que dificulta establecer una conexión clara y explícita con la realidad colombiana. Pero, como reiteradamente han comprobado los trabajos críticos, el papel de la realidad histórica y social es un referente fundamental de los mundos ficticios de García Márquez, como lo es la intención de propiciar una segunda oportunidad para la idea de construir un proyecto de nación más incluyente, en el que «el otro» no esté fatalmente condenado a la destrucción violenta. El objetivo de este trabajo es establecer la relación de dos textos recientes que sintetizan la historia de Colombia (Historia de Colombia y sus oligarquías de Antonio Caballero e Historia mínima de Colombia de Jorge Orlando Melo) con la creación literaria del autor de Macondo, para destacar la aguda visión que el escritor tenía de la realidad social y política colombiana. De esta manera, se busca ilustrar cómo en su escritura ficcional se conjugan artísticamente la más cruda realidad de su pueblo y la portentosa creación de su imaginación.","PeriodicalId":36996,"journal":{"name":"Linguistica (Slovenia)","volume":" ","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-12-23","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"45950448","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
