Calorie and Nutrition measurement are used to monitor the body fat. In this dietary management system the calorie values are calculated by means of segmentation, features extraction and classification. Then the calorie value is computed with the aid of food area volume and nutrition measure based on the mass value. By calculating the calorie value of every food item, the dietary assessment gives the efficient way for person's food intake. FCM algorithm is used here for segmentation and Sphere Shaped SVM classifier is used to classify the segmented food items. This method automatically identifies the food items and then calculates their calorie value. The proposed method shows 95% of accuracy value which attains better classification.","PeriodicalId":369524,"journal":{"name":"2017 International Conference on Inventive Computing and Informatics (ICICI)","volume":"23 1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2017-11-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"130876187","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Oversized waveguide components [1] can be used to minimize ohmic losses when a signal must be transported over a large distance. The waveguide devices at both ends are usually in a smaller and connected by suitable transitions to the overmode waveguide. This combination forms a resonant cavity for higher order modes. We examine how the transmission of the fundamental mode is affected by resonances in the higher order modes. We present the design and simulation results of Transition and Bends. Waveguide bends are known to induce coupling between modes. We could not find in literature a comprehensive set of numerical results in a form suitable for practical applications. This motivated us to produce such a set of results, and to analyze practical consequences, including overmode trapping between waveguide transitions. [2] All the components were simulated using the CST microwave studio [3]. First we have designed the transition and simulated in CST environment. Which gives dips in insertion loss due to the spurious overmode. After that the oversized E and H plane bend were designed and simulated to overcome the coupling between the overmodes.","PeriodicalId":369524,"journal":{"name":"2017 International Conference on Inventive Computing and Informatics (ICICI)","volume":"164 3","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2017-11-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"131692036","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

These, combined with many other factors leading to the destruction of plants, crops, and agricultural land have demonstrated a need for good and efficient techniques to save these vulnerable plants. Rainfall, in particular, contributes to a majority of problems associated with agriculture, be it more rain leading to crop destruction or less rain contributing to the lack of water. In this paper, we present a technique which will definitively free plants and crops from any sort of water peril. This technique will essentially prevent any type of water hazard, be it excessive rainfall, dearth of rainfall, or a flood, and protect crops, and for that matter, even non-arable plants, using the concepts and implementations of Internet of Things.","PeriodicalId":369524,"journal":{"name":"2017 International Conference on Inventive Computing and Informatics (ICICI)","volume":"30 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2017-11-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"121414232","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The magnetic field modeling plays a crucial role where magnetic field uniformity is of highest concern. PSC of three turns, inner radius (1mm), is modeled with the proposed model. Analytical results are verified with experimentally measured magnetic field results. Analytical modeling is carried out in MATLAB, whereas 3D FDTD tool Computer Simulation Technology (CST) is used for simulation.","PeriodicalId":369524,"journal":{"name":"2017 International Conference on Inventive Computing and Informatics (ICICI)","volume":"56 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2017-11-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"122261245","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The measurements of the patients, e.g. their heart rate, temperature, level of glucose and many more, should constantly be reported to the hospital with expert doctors to give instructions to people in ambulance so that the patient survives on the way to hospital where more instruments and expert doctors are available in hand. In rural areas, the coverage of communication services are not sufficient for transmission of such signals, so the available bandwidth should be used in an efficient manner, or severe irreparable damages can be caused for the patient. The available bandwidth can come from different sources like satellite communication, 2G/3G/4G communication from different carriers, or other wireless communications available for ambulances specifically. Given that the physiological states of a patient are of different priorities and that the different sources of communications have different bandwidths (and so different round trip time), an important issue is to schedule the right physiological state of the patient to the right communication channel, so that the cost incurred to the patient minimizes. In this paper, we investigate the performance of different scheduling algorithms on our system model, and propose an adaptive communication scheme for remote monitoring of critically ill patients who are receiving ambulance transport in rural areas with poor communication coverage to minimize the instantaneous incurred damage to these patients.","PeriodicalId":369524,"journal":{"name":"2017 International Conference on Inventive Computing and Informatics (ICICI)","volume":"43 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2017-11-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"122739102","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In binary product reviews (positive or negative) the distribution of classes will always tend to any one class, thereby generating a class imbalance nature in the dataset. A class imbalance state of the dataset is in which, instances in one class predominately outnumber the instances in other class. The existing opinion mining approaches are not efficient on the class imbalance opinions mining datasets. In this paper, we present the up to date survey of class imbalance opinion mining datasets.","PeriodicalId":369524,"journal":{"name":"2017 International Conference on Inventive Computing and Informatics (ICICI)","volume":"8 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2017-11-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"122919803","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Feature selection is a crucial pre-processing step in determining factors responsible for post-operative life expectancy in the patients suffering with lung cancer. Postoperative life expectancy complications are the most common fatality following major types of thoracic surgery. In particular, we want to examine the underlying health factors of patients that could potentially be a powerful predictor for deaths which are surgically related. Seven machine learning methods namely Naïve Bayes, Linear SVM, MLP, RBF Network, SMO, KNN and CART are employed for analyzing the performance of feature selection methods. Maximum accuracy of 85.11% was obtained with correlation-based feature selection in comparison with consistency-based feature selection which was 84.89 %.","PeriodicalId":369524,"journal":{"name":"2017 International Conference on Inventive Computing and Informatics (ICICI)","volume":"7 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2017-11-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"128132356","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Wireless sensor device is used to sense the environment by using built-up battery power. Due to the wireless environment, battery power is major concern in wireless sensor device. To overcome this issue, proposed new approach called battery replacement algorithm with dual battery (BRADB). This algorithm is mainly focus on battery power and energy consumption. Due to the high temperature, some forest animals like elephant and tiger will come to the village for drinking water. At that time, that will curse the tribal people. To avoid that, this sensor device with dual battery will intimate about the temperature level through SMS to the respective user. At that time, forester can intimate to the tribal people about temperature varying condition. So they can alert to avoid the difficult circumstances. This sensor device will start to monitor the forest environment through camera continuously for live streaming process.","PeriodicalId":369524,"journal":{"name":"2017 International Conference on Inventive Computing and Informatics (ICICI)","volume":"7 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2017-11-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"131850743","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
