Fifty-seven students from the bachelor’s programme Teacher Training for Kindergarten from 2018/2019 to 2021/2022 participated. The sampling was based on convenience. A qualitative approach was used through open verbal statements transcribed into a text. The individual importance of education to students at the beginning of the first semester and their personal justifications for the importance of education were identified, representing several categories. Data were collected from 252 tertiary music students from Slovenia and Croatia (121 male and 131 female musicians), who filled in The Questionnaire on Attitudes to Music Improvisation, The Inventory on Feelings associated with Music Improvisation, and the Work-related Flow Inventory. The results show that the female students have significantly more negative feelings and attitudes toward improvisation, and they experience less flow while improvising. Differences were even more pronounced when comparing students who only played classical music with those who played other genres, as well. It explores their current and preferred interactions. The results show that teachers from vocational schools make field trips less frequently and are less satisfied with their relationship with museums. The characteristics of museum-school interactions are the same for both groups and form a model of low-intensity relations, with each institution maintaining its discrete authority, responsibilities and resources. The Knight’s Hall in Brežice Castle is used here as an example for qualitative research on cultural heritage interpretation. The research focused on scientific art-historical information as the basis for cultural messaging. The analysis of the museum interpretation included a printed Knight’s Hall guidebook, as well as hall-related information boards and digital information, while the analysis of the school interpretation included an art history exam catalogue and an art history textbook. The research revealed a minor difference in the interpretation of the Baroque wall paintings, specifically with regard to the ceiling of the hall. The article uses the Slovenian School Museum as an example and describes the education it offers, especially concerning museum's historical school lessons. The purpose of this qualitative study is to explore the views and reactions of university students (n = 19) from the Faculty of Arts at the University of Ljubljana, concerning what they learned from the enactment of a historical school lesson. An open-ended type of questionnaire was given to participants in the study year 2019/20 and used to evaluate the “Ancient Emona” school lesson. In this study, we were interested in how this principle can be implemented in museum education in an authentic gallery space. To this end, a case study was conducted with a sample of 55 students aged 12-14 (n = 55). The method of aesthetic transfer was tested on 4 works in the Maribor Art Gallery. This study explores how student teachers at Nelson Mandela University perceived their School-Based Learning (SBL) mentoring experience about the roles that mentors should fulfil based on an adapted seven-factor framework (Hudson, 2004, 2009) by adopting a post-positivist paradigm. The results confirm the poorer quality and duration of physical education classes during remote schooling. Our findings also coincide with the findings of other studies, which show that during the COVID-19 pandemic, children’s physical/sports activity, as well as their motor functions, decreased dramatically.
