Not being a grammar category, alterity is viewed as an implicit communication category, rendered within its categorical properties. On account of alterity being made explicit through a definite use of syntactic means, it is possible to decode the implicit meanings and latent properties of the characters’ verbal and non-verbal communication.","PeriodicalId":368181,"journal":{"name":"Linguistics & Education","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-05-16","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"134264550","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The emphasis is made on its hybrid nature, viz. Placement between rock, poetical and, perhaps, interactive (juvenile) discourses. It has been found out that among different tools of rhetorical influence, made use of in the studied variation of rock-discourse, tropes, the most common of which are metaphors and epithets, have an important role. In the research, the cases of pragmatic application of personal pronouns and graphics are considered. Attention is paid to the personality of the lyrical hero (heroine) that is shown to be a language personality as well.","PeriodicalId":368181,"journal":{"name":"Linguistics & Education","volume":"28 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-05-12","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"116631035","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
