However, machine learning and statistical modeling complement each other. Machine learning and statistical modeling are essentially based on similar mathematical principles but use different tools to construct the overall analytical knowledge base. Determining the predominant approach to be employed should be based on the problem to be solved, as well as empirical evidence, such as the size and completeness of the data, number of variables, assumptions or lack thereof, and expected outcomes such as predictions or causality. Good analysts and data scientists thus should be aware of the inherent difference between the two methods based on their proper applications and tools to achieve the desired results.","PeriodicalId":36710,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Applied Engineering Research (Netherlands)","volume":"27 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-05-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"83552320","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The Defected Ground Structure (DGS) is employed on the ground plane of the antenna to operate at UWB, for prime layer CR and for sensing in the inlay CR. When used in the inlay CR mode, selectively have one, two or three notches in the Bluetooth (2.4GHz), Wi-MAX (3.1 GHz – 3.8GHz) and WLAN (5.1GH-5.8GHz) to avoid interference to the direct users operating in these bands. The band notch characteristics are achieved by etching the three Split Ring Resonators on the patch namely, Split-Ring Resonator (SRRs), Complementary SRR (CSRR) and Elliptical SRR (ESRR). The SRRs are controlled using three electronic switches which are mounted over it to achieve the Reconfigurability of notch frequencies. To fulfill this objective, continual improvements in automobile technologies are taking its pace. In this paper, authors’ focus towards the suspension system to reduce considerably vibration of the vehicles for comfort ride and safety during its braking, acceleration or passes over irregular surfaces at higher speeds such as ramble strips / bumps and speed breakers or uneven road contours in the Indian Road Scenario. A mathematical model is prepared to consider these vibrations considering all four wheels running on irregular roads surface, ramble strips, speed breakers and simulated with software: Simulink / Matlab. Currently the research works are carried out for comfort ride up to 20-35 km per hour speed. In this paper, researches are carried out to improve the comfort zone at 50 km/hour and above for light vehicles at direct and indirect parameters such as: spring constants, damping coefficients, bumps etc. The simulation results were extensively and accurately evaluated on above factors impacting comfort ride of four wheeled vehicles. The result shows that comfort ride is found at speed 62.5 km/ hr or above on rural roads when rear tire damping coefficient ( b r) is 4 kNs/m. Future researches can be done, on Ramble Strips / Speed Breakers at higher speeds for comfort ride.","PeriodicalId":36710,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Applied Engineering Research (Netherlands)","volume":"213 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-04-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"79484785","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Acquiring and analysis of Rwave, can be done traditionally using different software. To be in advance this work focuses not only on acquiring and analysis of ECG signal but also on identification of cardiac abnormalities. This would bridge the gap between medical physicians and engineers. Our project is carried out with the help of Lab VIEW software. This model works for identifying particular abnormality. The signal is then fed to PC through NI ELVIS DAQ. Here the waveform in analog form is are converted to digital form and is analyzed for detecting the R peak of the ECG signal acquired, based on which the identification of cardiac disorders is done by sending them to the loops containing the conditions for cardiac disorders. Based on the results obtained from the analysis of the ECG signal and comparison with the loop conditions, the cardiac disorders identified and displayed instantly. Firstly, denoising can be done by using WA Detrend and Undecimated Wavelet Transform (UWT), then features extracted from the denoised ECG signal by using ECG Features Extractor. One cardiac cycle in an ECG signal consists of the P-QRS-T waves. The amplitudes and intervals value of P-QRS-T segment determines the functioning of heart of every human. QRS detection, especially detection of R wave in heart signal, is easier than other portions of ECG signal due to its structural form and high amplitude. R wave is one of the most important sections of this complex, which has an essential role in diagnosis of heart rhythm irregularities and also in determining heart rate variability’.","PeriodicalId":36710,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Applied Engineering Research (Netherlands)","volume":"5 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-04-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"78178974","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
