In a medium of 0.01 – 0.10 % polyvinyl alcohol at a constant voltage of 15 V, are deposited single-phase brushite or monetite coatings are deposited. The addition of 0.01 – 0.10 % polyvinyl alcohol into the electrolyte during deposition at a constant current density of 20 mA/cm2 leads to the formation of composite calcium phosphate coatings containing brushite, calcium hydroxide and calcium phosphate of the apatite structure. The bioactivity of calcium phosphate coatings was confirmed by the formation of apatites during their soaking in the Simulated Body Fluid (SBF). Amorphized apatite formed on brushite coatings during 2 weeks soaking in SBF crystallizes into β-tricalcium phosphate after heat treatment. The apatite formed on the composite coating in the SBF crystallizes into a composition of hydroxyapatite and β-tricalcium phosphate. The resulting bioactive calcium phosphate coatings can be used as biocoatings to enhance osseointegration of titanium implants.","PeriodicalId":366423,"journal":{"name":"Physics and Chemistry of Materials Treatment","volume":"310 ","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"1900-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"120886438","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Dependences a[O] = f[Pr/Dy, %] were expressed as logarithmic equations, which made it possible to compare them with each other in the concentration range of 0.001 – 0.2 % of each deoxidizer and determine that the deoxidizing capacity of Pr is 1.7 times higher in terms of compared to Dy. Calculated a[O] in Ni – O – Al – (Pr/Dy) melts compared to Al at a concentration of 0.05 % elements and showed a seven-fold decrease for the first deoxidizer and an eleven-fold decrease for the second. The morphology of non-metallic inclusions in metallographic sections of Ni – O – Pr/Dy alloys indicates that the inclusions are located along grain boundaries and have different configurations and complex heterophase composition. The analysis of non-metallic inclusions with the maximum content of the deoxidizing element proved the existence of Pr/Dy oxygen compounds, which confirms the data of thermodynamic and mass spectrometric studies. The average content of Zr in non-metallic inclusions during the deoxidation of Pr is twice as high as in the experiments during the deoxidation of Dy, which indicates the interaction of Pr/Dy with ZrO2 of the EMF sensor and the predominant interaction of Pr compared to Dy and correlates with the data on the determination of a[O].","PeriodicalId":366423,"journal":{"name":"Physics and Chemistry of Materials Treatment","volume":"15 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"1900-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"125434942","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Composite mechanoluminescent materials based on a polymer and a phosphor powder were used to visualize and record the dynamics of the development of deformations. Mechanoluminescent materials were applied to the surface of the materials under study. It is shown that the spatial distribution of the glow intensity of the mechanoluminescent layer and the rate of its change make it possible to judge the magnitude and rate of deformation of materials when they are exposed to laser pulses. The kinetics and photoluminescence spectrum of composite materials were studied under the combined action of short-wave and long-wave laser radiation. It is shown that the photoluminescence excited by a long-wavelength laser is associated with the activation of the populated levels of the traps.","PeriodicalId":366423,"journal":{"name":"Physics and Chemistry of Materials Treatment","volume":"32 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"1900-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"128108755","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The dependence of the depth and energy efficiency of ablation on the power density in the range q = 4·108 – 1010 W/cm2 has been determined. It has been established that the maximum efficiency of material removal is achieved at q = 4·109 W/cm2 for a high-carbon steel target and in the range q = 7·108 – 5·109 W/cm2 for a low-carbon steel target. The size distribution of ejected microparticles was determined. It has been established that a back flow of particles occurs upon irradiation of high-carbon steel and the flow origin mechanism is associated with nanosized condensate particles. Based on the reflectivity measurements and the electron microscopy microstructure study of the irradiated surface, it has been suggested that the mechanism for the higher efficiency of ablation of high-carbon steel compared to low-carbon steel is the condensation process of supersaturated carbon vapors on the target surface that increases the irradiated target surface absorptivity and, consequently, the material removal efficiency of the subsequent scanning pass is increased.","PeriodicalId":366423,"journal":{"name":"Physics and Chemistry of Materials Treatment","volume":"405 10","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"1900-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"120891490","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
