It is shown that the spatial distribution of the glow intensity of the mechanoluminescent layer and the rate of its change make it possible to judge the magnitude and rate of deformation of materials when they are exposed to laser pulses. The kinetics and photoluminescence spectrum of composite materials were studied under the combined action of short-wave and long-wave laser radiation. Abstract

The work investigated the deformations of materials arising from the action of high-power laser pulses.
