Using the London Metal Exchange (LME) spot metal price dataset for about 30 years, the proposed smart lead price prediction system can achieve prediction error of less than 10% (that‘s, approximately equal to $100). This article believes that in the near future, it can be expanded to predict futures prices from lead to other industries and even precious metals.","PeriodicalId":365765,"journal":{"name":"2020 IEEE 2nd Eurasia Conference on Biomedical Engineering, Healthcare and Sustainability (ECBIOS)","volume":"69 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-05-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"132711660","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

However, the amount of waste produced has also increased. Governments have invested a considerable amount of resources in solving this problem on waste source reduction and recycling. Accordingly, this study with a smart city concept developed a recyclable garbage sorting system that could be used in various locations to help eliminate littering in the city (from inconsistent waste disposal), diminish labor costs, and achieve the goals of increased recycling and reduced waste. This study integrated LoRaWAN communication networks (networks developed using the Internet of Things) with garbage sorting equipment to create a system that offers automated garbage can operation, environmental monitoring, and graphical interface monitoring. The system uses electrostatic capacitance-type proximity sensors to determine the types of garbage deposited in garbage cans. Furthermore, it contains an embedded motor and smart devices that can perform functions such as automatically opening and closing insertion points, sorting waste materials, initiating automated garbage compression, monitoring water levels, and issuing warnings when the water level exceeds the specified limit. This system employs a C# graphical monitoring interface to remind users to remove the garbage.","PeriodicalId":365765,"journal":{"name":"2020 IEEE 2nd Eurasia Conference on Biomedical Engineering, Healthcare and Sustainability (ECBIOS)","volume":"22 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-05-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"130371695","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Medical equipment and sickbed can interact with each other through visible light communication with LED lights in the same space. It helps patients to remote control, query diagnosis and treatment results in real time. It also significantly improves diagnosis and treatment experience and hospital operation efficiency. In this system, OFDM and MIMO technology are introduced for high-speed transmission and high-frequency spectrum utilization. In order to solve the problem of intercode interference, the system uses the camera to collect multiple light sources and designs the structure of aotu assistive neural network used in the demodulation program, which achieves the better detection of light and anti-interference of ambient light.","PeriodicalId":365765,"journal":{"name":"2020 IEEE 2nd Eurasia Conference on Biomedical Engineering, Healthcare and Sustainability (ECBIOS)","volume":"46 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-05-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"134083612","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The energy self-sufficiency ratio had decreased from 78.54% in 2000 to 33.32% in 2016. However, Shandong's energy efficiency has not received researcher's attention. Therefore, this study aims to explore the major forces in changing energy efficiency of Shandong utilizing the revised Divisia Index Model between 2001 and 2015. The results of this research show that: Firstly, energy-saving policies are the major factors for the reduction of Shandong's energy intensity, especially for the secondary sector. Secondly, improving energy efficiency has always been the driving force for decreasing energy intensity in Shandong from 2001 to 2015. Finally, the effect of industrial structure has gradually increased since 2006 and its contribution towards reducing energy intensity has been increasing.","PeriodicalId":365765,"journal":{"name":"2020 IEEE 2nd Eurasia Conference on Biomedical Engineering, Healthcare and Sustainability (ECBIOS)","volume":"108 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-05-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"125105567","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Only fast, convenient, modern and automated logistics distribution can match the growing logistics demand. Drone logistics has these unique characteristics, which provides advantages for drone logistics distribution. Amazon, Wal-Mart, Google and many other companies, such as UPS, Wal-Mart, 7-Eleven, and Domino have tested drones for delivering small packages or groceries, and they will probably become common in the near future. The high benefits brought by drones are visible, and play an important role in the distribution of “last mile” in far and traffic inconvenient areas. Although public perceives benefits from the use of drones to perform a variety of functions throughout society. It is also clear that drones are perceived as presenting risks to personal safety, public safety, and privacy. Therefore, drone delivery providers need to understand potential consumers' demands to adopt drone delivery. However, a systematic study to characterize the public's demand of drone logistics, or to identify its broader concerns, has yet to be undertaken. Therefore, this paper used KANO model to investigate the customers demand for drone logistics service from 23 indicators of six dimensions in terms of national regulations, technical security, technical equipment, the efficiency of drone logistics, risk prevention and audience preference constraints.","PeriodicalId":365765,"journal":{"name":"2020 IEEE 2nd Eurasia Conference on Biomedical Engineering, Healthcare and Sustainability (ECBIOS)","volume":"20 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-05-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"122142581","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Nevertheless, the visual symptoms do restrain them from being independent. Under the concept of active aging, it is very essential to allow the elderly to maintain their independent ability in their daily living. The objective of this research is to develop an application (the app) for seniors to measure their low vision status autonomously through smart devices in their places. In this research, literature reviewing and investigation from various eyes' symptoms (such as macular degeneration, glaucoma and so on) were carried out to develop the interface mechanism that act as a simulation tool for measuring elders' visual capabilities and ocular condition. Based on these, the visual interface design with visual field simulation tools were suggested to obtain parameters for colorblind, and light and shadow control. Lastly, a prototype was developed through experiencing and interviewing both Thai and Taiwanese to gain the better understanding of the seniors' needs and usability. The results provide an alternative option for the elderly staying at home while keeping their vision health status instead of unnecessary visiting hospital in person.","PeriodicalId":365765,"journal":{"name":"2020 IEEE 2nd Eurasia Conference on Biomedical Engineering, Healthcare and Sustainability (ECBIOS)","volume":"9 5","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-05-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"131727401","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
