The descriptive statistics showed that the players’ mean covered distances were 10,289 m per match. The MANOVA revealed significant differences of the players’ covered distances in all intensity zones in relation to their playing positions (f(12, 513.567) = 41.862; p = 0.000) and the opponent team ranking (F(3,189) = 3.687; p = 0.013). furthermore, no significant interactions were observed between the playing positions and the opponent team ranking (f(12, 500.339) = 1.149; p = 0.318). Moreover, no significant differences were recorded regarding the opponent team ranking with the amount of accelerations (f(1,189) = 0.501; p = 0.480) and decelerations (f(1,189) = 1.342; p = 0.248). summarizing, the current study showed the high-demanding competitive performance of midfielders, full backs and forwards regardless the standing of the opponent teams. hence, the team’s training must include special stimuli of aerobic and high-intensity workouts according to the players’ playing positions in the match.","PeriodicalId":36509,"journal":{"name":"Central European Journal of Sport Sciences and Medicine","volume":"1 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"68045855","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

For athletes – dancers to assert themselves on the dance floor, during competitions, many more elements and aspects are needed and not just their interest or desire to participate. Several mandatory conditions need to be considered, the first of which is staged selection, thus following the selection criteria of each stage. Given the diversity of forms that selection can take in expression sports (according to certain principles) and at the same time, taking stock of the most used terms in the field, we further set out certain models and classification criteria but also methods and forms of selection.\u0000In order to materialize the aforementioned information and without claiming to be exhaustive, we affirm that the nature of the evidence and its specificity but also, the new ways to learn and improve the process must be considered.\u0000In any sport, the selection is a long process that requires seriousness, perseverance, and exigency from all those who are involved, still, it is recommended to consider both the particularities of the sport and the particularities of each dancer.","PeriodicalId":36509,"journal":{"name":"Central European Journal of Sport Sciences and Medicine","volume":"193 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-12-29","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"75041475","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Health education is part of the core curriculum of Polish schools. The leading role of the health educator is assumed by the physical education teacher, but many other educational tasks are carried out by all school staff. The present study attempts to answer the question: How is health education implemented at school? The research project was carried out among students of various colleges in the city of Szczecin in Poland. At the same time, similar studies were conducted among students from other university in other cities. The research method was a diagnostic survey, with the main assessment tool being the ‘Questionnaire for Assessment of Implementation of Physical Education at Secondary School’ by Krystyna Górna-Łukasik from the Jerzy Kukuczka Academy of Physical Education in Katowice. On the basis of the study results, an attempt was made to determine the forms and methods of work and the involvement of various types of teachers in health education. The statistical analysis sought correlations between the students' opinions about the ways in which the curriculum content was implemented, university majors, and PE teachers’ sex.","PeriodicalId":36509,"journal":{"name":"Central European Journal of Sport Sciences and Medicine","volume":"1 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-10-18","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"42238276","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

A male team athlete (age 36 years, stature 27 1.75 m, mass 80.0 kg) performed multiple linear decelerations, following 20 m runs at 50%, 28 75% and 100% self-perceived effort. Inertial measurement unit sensors were strapped to 29 lower-limb segments and retroreflective markers were adhered to the lower-limbs for 3D 30 optical motion analysis. Ground contact time, foot to centre of mass displacement (foot-31 COM), peak and minimum angle, mean angular velocity and range of motion at the ankle, 32 knee and hip during the contact phases of each deceleration were determined. Measures were 33 valid if a very large correlation (r ≥ 0.7) and small bias (effect size < 0.6) were evident. 34 Following 50% effort, ground contact time, foot-COM and most hip and knee kinematics 35 were valid. Ground contact time, foot-COM and knee flexion velocity and range of motion 36 were valid following 75% efforts. Ground contact time and knee flexion velocity were valid 37 following 100% effort. Therefore, the inertial measurement unit system tested can be used to 38 assess temporal-spatial parameters during a deceleration regardless of the preceding effort, 39 and hip and knee kinematics following low intensity running.","PeriodicalId":36509,"journal":{"name":"Central European Journal of Sport Sciences and Medicine","volume":" ","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-02-05","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"43822078","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The use of these devices in exercise and medical situations has been advocated with the purpose of reducing contagions, but some concerns exist regarding its safety. We performed maximal treadmill stress tests in 12 healthy young subjects, with and without surgical mask use, and measured exercise capacity, oxygen saturation (rest, peak exercise and post-exercise) and electrocardiographic changes. Exercise capacity and Oxygen saturation levels decreased in peak exercise vs rest in a statistically significant manner when mask was used. ECG changes, although not significant, were present in 3 subjects when mask was used and disappeared when the test was made unmasked. We conclude that masked exercise has the potential to cause decreased exercise load and oxygen saturation and potentially cause diagnostic errors in medical exams.","PeriodicalId":36509,"journal":{"name":"Central European Journal of Sport Sciences and Medicine","volume":" ","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-02-05","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"42590209","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
