This increase causes the green area and urban yard narrowed. Plants that can be planted at the yard only certain and usually potted plants. Responding to this, the Biology Study Program, FMIPA, UAD in collaboration with the Environmental and Disaster Management Agency (LLHPB), PWA DIY formulated a farming solution. The purpose of this activity were to increase the knowledge about environmental damage and knowledge of hydroponics, benefits, and types of PWA DIY members. As well as improving the skills to cultivate through hydroponics. The methods that used were counseling and training. Planting process through DFT (Drip Flow Technique) and Wick systems with used bottles. The DFT installation used as a pilot project at the PWA DIY office, while the Wick System installation was taught at every opportunity. The results that obtained are PWA DIY members had carried out the harvesting once in the DFT installation. Vegetables that harvested were pakcoy and salada. The conclusion of this activity were the use of hydroponics can help utilize and maximize narrow land in urban areas. This case occurs oftentimes in schools and can affect health, learning outcomes, achievements, and children’s development. Therefore, the disease which caused by food sold in school should be prevented by health and Consumer Protection Act (UUPK) education activities. Community service activities in the form of counseling about the hazards of microbial contaminated food and UUPK in SD Negeri Sariwangi aims to improve the knowledge of students related to it. This activity was conducted six times in July-September 2017. Participants of this activity are every students of SD Negeri Sariwangi, 360 in total. Extension was done by lecturing and “question and answer” method. Evaluation results showed an increase in the average score of students on the given test, from 42 to 75. A total of 75.83% claimed to have a high level of understanding of health materials and 61.1% of UUPK material. Early warning information system of pregnancy risk is useful to assist the health care provider an effort to enhance objectiveness early conclusion/diagnosis obtained. In addition, this information is useful for pregnant women and families to detect early pregnancy and risk factors can also be used to prepare for childbirth and safe motherhood. The objective of this public service is introducing application of early warning information system of pregnancy risk based of web to the public (pregnant women) at Menanggal Village - City of Surabaya. The method with lectures, demonstrations and practical. Results achieved increased knowledge of pregnant women about application of early warning information system of pregnancy risk. Evaluation of pregnant women obtained that features the application of interesting, easy to understand, easy to use and responsive to complaints of pregnant women because there is room on the menu consultation. Tujuan pengabdian masyarakat ini adalah mengedukasi kader posyandu, ibu balita dan anak sekolah berbasis media di Desa Sukawening. Metode yang digunakan dalam pelaksanaan pengabdian masyarakat yang diselenggarakan Sekolah Tinggi Ilmu Kesehatan Immanuel Bandung tim Program Studi S1 Gizi diantaranya ceramah, video, poster, drama, musik dan demonstrasi.Hasil yang didapat, diantaranya: 1). Terdapat perbedaan signifikan antara pengetahuan kader dengan sebelum (13,4) dan sesudah (16,9). 2) Adanya perbedaan signifikan pengetahuan ibu (0,000, p value < 0,05) setelah diberikan edukasi dengan media. 3). Dari 65 orang siswa kelas 4, 5 dan 6 memiliki nilai rata - rata 9,6 dalam menjawab soal pre-test dan nilai rata - rata 13,2 dalam menjawab soal post-test. Secara stastistik, p value < 0,05 (H0 ditolak) maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa ada perbedaan signifikan antara pengetahuan siswa di SD Sukawening sebelum dan sesudah diberikan materi penyuluhan tentang gizi seimbang dan sarapan pagi. 4). Menunjukkan bahwa dari 41 orang siswa kelas 4, 5 dan 6 memiliki nilai rata - rata 9,8 dalam menjawab soal pre-test dan nilai rata - rata 12,9 dalam menjawab soal post-test. Secara stastistik, p value < 0,05 (H0 ditolak) maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa ada perbedaan signifikan antara pengetahuan siswa di SD Nenon sebelum dan sesudah diberikan materi penyuluhan tentang gizi seimbang dan sarapan pagi. The degree of public health is determined by behavioral factors. To support efforts to improve healthy behaviors, the national vision of health promotion is \"Clean and Healthy Behavior (PHBS).\" The child is our hope for the future. Adverse community behavior or lifestyles that can damage the public order in the health sector, can start from the behavior of individuals, families or the behaviors of society and school-age children. The purpose of this activity is to know the effect of health education on awareness, knowledge of PHBS and skills about hand washing and correct way of brushing. Based on observations found 60% of students seen snack in the open and using food preservatives, 75.5% of students did not wash hands before and after meals, 62.2% of students experienced dental caries as much as 67.7% of students frequent diarrhea as much as 58% and 54.8% of students are long and dirty nails. Lack of awareness of clean life behavior in elementary school age children is due to lack of socialization about the importance of clean living in school by health workers. Health education activities conducted on May 14, 2016, appropriate and targeted goals are school age students in Elementary School 2, Tugu, Jumantono Karanganyar with health education methods with lecture and demonstration techniques. After this activity is expected to increase student awareness level about PHBS in school.
