An appropriate wear model contributes to reducing the capacity loss for energy storage scheduling. In this work, the proposed model fully adopts battery wear according to depth of discharge (DoD) for each state-of-charge (SoC) level as a multi-objective function. This model is formulated with mixed-integer linear programming to derive an optimal solution without sacrificing other objectives. In addition, this model maintains low complexity without being affected by the number of EVs by clustering technique-based EV scheduling. The proposed methodology was verified through a case study that battery degradation was considered as a multi-objective function. In addition, it was possible to reduce the battery capacity decrease by more than 30% in a simulation for one month.","PeriodicalId":364883,"journal":{"name":"2023 13th International Conference on Power, Energy and Electrical Engineering (CPEEE)","volume":"46 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-02-25","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"133270028","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Four configurations with different positions of inlet/outlet are considered to investigate the effect of flow patterns on cooling performance of battery pack. The maximum temperature, temperature difference and pressure drop are evaluated as the cooling performance characteristics. The numerical model is developed in ANSYS Fluent commercial software to evaluate the cooling performance characteristics of battery pack with direct liquid cooling considering different configurations. The results reveal that the maximum temperature, temperature difference of battery pack and pressure drop are lower for channel with inlet and two outlets located along its length. The maximum temperature and temperature difference of battery pack are significantly affected by channel with two outlets compared to that with single outlet. Furthermore, the pressure drop for two outlets configuration is low compared to single outlet configuration.","PeriodicalId":364883,"journal":{"name":"2023 13th International Conference on Power, Energy and Electrical Engineering (CPEEE)","volume":"87 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-02-25","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"132689838","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

It is faster and more electricity-saving to obtain the efficiency through a prediction model compared with the experimental methods. In this work, a dehumidification efficiency prediction model based on polynomial regression for desiccant wheels is established. The model is aimed at predicting the dehumidification efficiency at different working conditions through a limited set of experimental data. As tested by experimental data, the absolute and the relative prediction errors of the model after modification for most data points are within $pm 2%$ and $pm 7%$. In addition, the test results show that adding cubic terms of some variables to the quadratic polynomial regression model helps to improve the prediction accuracy, which shows the improvement potential of the model. In conclusion, the presented model can provide a reference for the performance prediction and optimization of the wheel.","PeriodicalId":364883,"journal":{"name":"2023 13th International Conference on Power, Energy and Electrical Engineering (CPEEE)","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-02-25","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"125790704","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

For this reason, this paper proposed a decomposition and identification method of wide-band polymorphic signals in active distribution network based on data decoupling analysis. The local adaptive weighted regression filtering algorithm was used to filter the polymorphic noise in the signal, and then the improved local mean decomposition algorithm based on adaptive threshold was used for signal decomposition and parameter identification. Then, the filtering performance and decomposition identification performance of the proposed method were analyzed by simulation. Finally, the measured current data of a photovoltaic power generation unit under the active power distribution network were analyzed and compared with the analysis results of the power quality analyzer. The difference between their frequency and amplitude was not more than 0.2%, which verified the accuracy and practicality of the method applied to the signal decomposition and identification of the active power distribution network.","PeriodicalId":364883,"journal":{"name":"2023 13th International Conference on Power, Energy and Electrical Engineering (CPEEE)","volume":"22 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-02-25","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"125191172","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Soil resistivity does not have a constant value throughout the zone of investigation, it varies widely in the lateral direction as well as, has large and abrupt changes in vertically distinct strata. Therefore, accurate soil resistivity data is an essential part of proper investigation of sites for grounding system design and installation. Measurement of soil resistivity corresponding to various depths are required for adequate evaluation of proposed installation sites. The traditional method of measurement of soil resistivity is by using earth testers. Alternate source, like high current DC can be used for measurement of soil resistivity during the design of grounding systems for applications like HVDC electrode stations. Usage of high current DC source for soil resistivity measurement application is not that popular. In this paper, the measurement of soil resistivity performed using high current DC source is explained and the results obtained are analyzed. This will provide an insight to personnel involved in design of earthing system for special application.","PeriodicalId":364883,"journal":{"name":"2023 13th International Conference on Power, Energy and Electrical Engineering (CPEEE)","volume":"289 3 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-02-25","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"127788082","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
