However, existing work always ignores the learning of feature discriminability when developing transferable models based on domain-invariant representation learning strategies. In addition, they have difficulty handling the knowledge transfer between domains with significant differences. To address these problems, an adaptive mixup-based adversarial network (AMAN) is proposed in this paper. It develops an inter-domain mixup method based on the sample adaptive screening strategy to generate high-quality virtual samples to guide domain adaptation while improving the learned feature representations’ discriminability. The comprehensive results of numerous DA diagnosis tasks built on the gearbox dataset validate AMAN’s effectiveness and application prospect.","PeriodicalId":364883,"journal":{"name":"2023 13th International Conference on Power, Energy and Electrical Engineering (CPEEE)","volume":"14 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-02-25","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"124336006","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Multilevel inverter circuits have been designed and simulated using PSIM software to generate 3 to 9-level output voltages. The switching angles at different voltage levels has been changed in accordance with the value of sinusoidal wave. Unequal independent dc sources have been connected to each Hbridge unit. The driving signals at the gate of MOSFETs of the H-bridge units have been applied using gating blocks with proper switching angles. The THD of output voltage was estimated without any filter circuit at the output. This study shows that THD of the output voltage of proposed inverter has been decreased significantly when the number of voltage steps at the output of inverter with changing of switching angle in sinusoidal steps compared to THD obtained in case of switching angle changed in equal steps.","PeriodicalId":364883,"journal":{"name":"2023 13th International Conference on Power, Energy and Electrical Engineering (CPEEE)","volume":"13 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-02-25","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"125564170","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The first program, the Planner, is a linear program that solves for the optimal size of the Nano-grid comprising a PV solar system and a battery energy storage system. The second program, the Operator, is a mixed integer linear program that uses resultant sizes from the Planner and other data and then solves for the optimal asset dispatch on an hourly basis throughout the whole horizon. 24-hours is used as the main optimization window, to be consistent with real case operations of day-ahead scheduling but longer windows were also tested with the Lookahead (LA) logic. A sensitivity to LA logic was applied for an analysis conducted on cost-effectiveness, system sustainability, and local energy sufficiency. It was shown that implementing two days of LA logic reduces the import cost by 44%. Nano-grid was considered in this study to test the capacity planning strategy, but the methodology is also applicable to larger schemes.","PeriodicalId":364883,"journal":{"name":"2023 13th International Conference on Power, Energy and Electrical Engineering (CPEEE)","volume":"361 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-02-25","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"115900077","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

A fuzzy logic controller based on reduced rules is implemented for the closed-loop control of the DAB converter, the control logic allows bidirectional power transfer in the supercapacitor. In this technology, three single-axis electric field sensors are used to design a sensing array and are placed on the ground below the measured overhead line. Moreover, these sensors are distributed at equal distances and orthogonally across the overhead line. When the geometric specification of the proposed overhead line is given as initial values, the designed voltage algorithm can accurately evaluate the voltage harmonic distortion of each phase based on the space electric fields measured by the sensor array. The difference between this study and other related non-contact voltage measurement methods is the consideration of conductor sags. Hence, the electric field around an overhead line simulated in this study is similar to the actual electric field. Moreover, the proposed electric field simulation is presented in a 3D model. Based on this 3D model, the new voltage distortion measurement algorithm can accurately measure the voltage distortion of the overhead line with sags. In order to verify the feasibility of the voltage distortion measurement algorithm, this study uses possible combinations of three overhead-line geometric variables, including: conductor radius, conductor sag, and distance between two adjacent conductors, to evaluate the accuracy of the proposed algorithm. The simulation results show that the maximum error of the proposed voltage distortion measurement method is less than 7% under the possible geometric deviation of the measured overhead line.","PeriodicalId":364883,"journal":{"name":"2023 13th International Conference on Power, Energy and Electrical Engineering (CPEEE)","volume":"34 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-02-25","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"131327776","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Therefore, the derived electromagnetic field model will be different from that in the real environment. The geometry of the overhead line has a great influence on the electromagnetic field calculation, especially at the center point of the cable between the two towers, where the cable sags to the lowest point in space. In this study, mathematical modeling of 2D&3D electromagnetic fields in space is carried out. In the model, a suspended-line equation is used and both the cable sag amplitude and the cable length are considered. Finally, the mathematical model of the electromagnetic field of the suspended overhead line is completed with MATLAB. The change of electromagnetic field distribution can be observed by the sag change. This 2D&3D model can quickly and graphically understand the electromagnetic field distribution of overhead lines. In the future, it can be used as an evaluation tool for the electromagnetic field distribution of actual overhead lines. It can be used to assist electric power engineers or environmental assessment engineers in the electromagnetic field evaluation and improvement. In addition, it can be applied to the pre-construction estimation of new overhead lines.","PeriodicalId":364883,"journal":{"name":"2023 13th International Conference on Power, Energy and Electrical Engineering (CPEEE)","volume":"50 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-02-25","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"114319621","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In TSCH-based WPSN, the period of data transmission and energy harvesting is determined depending on the slotframe length. Thus, the slotframe length may largely affect the performance of TSCH-based WPSN, especially when the network environment varies. Accordingly, in the TSCH-based WPSN design, it is considered an important issue to determine an appropriate slotframe length in consideration of the network environment. In this paper, we investigate the impact of slotframe length on the performance of TSCH-based WPSNs through experimental simulation.
