This reflection runs through the ideas of development at first, differentiating it from mere economic growth. Following, comments are made on the development strategies adopted in the Brazilian semi-arid by governmental action, which throughout history have given greater importance to assistance and emergency measures, being enhanced with practices based on technical studies, but without closer approximation with practices and wishes of the local population. Finally, we consider new development paradigms, also known as endogenous development, which foresee the collective participation as primordial in the development of effective actions to promote the improvement of the quality of life of society as a whole. Your treatment is with combined oral contraceptives and metformin. Therefore, it was aimed to identify the benefits of using metformin in patients with PCOS. An Integrated Literature Review (RIL) was carried out, based on the evaluation of secondary sources, carried out in six steps: It was defined the theme of the study and constituted the guiding question, then the Controlled Descriptors in Health Sciences (DeCS) : \"Metformin\" NA D \"Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome\" and began the search in PubMed, Science Direct and VHL databases. There were 5,285 publications and after the application of exclusion and inclusion criteria, the sample consisted of 19 articles. Then, the categorization was carried out, the analysis and interpretation of the selected studies, the development of the results and the presentation of the revision / synthesis of the knowledge. Findings from the studies showed that metformin brings great benefits mainly to obese women with PCOS because it improves the metabolism of insulin and sex hormones, reducing levels of insulin resistance and progression to type 2 diabetes mellitus, it also reduces levels of inflammatory cytokines and acts as a coadjuvant in the treatment of infertility in clomiphene-resistant women. The main reservoir of that infection viral is the man, the susceptibility is universal, it is stood out that the measles is a disease imunoprevinível. The present study is justified for the need of understanding the epidemic profile of the measles in the state of Roraima.It was aimed at to analyze, starting from secondary data, the evolution of the measles in the state of Roraima and the current situation vacinal against that offence in Brazil in the period of 2017 á 2018. It is a study ecological, descriptive, traverse, with quantitative and retrospective approach. The analysis of the data of the present study was accomplished starting from sources as statistical tables and informative documents of Ministry of Health, System of Information of the National Program of Immunizations (TabNet-immunizations) and of DATASUS. Starting from the analysis of the exposed data, it is noticed that the cases of measles in the state of Roraima present growth in the last years. It is observed that the covering vacinal against the measles was more effective in the areas center-west, South area and north area. The covering of the vaccine triple viral in the state of Roraima in some municipal districts are very low in relation to the goal of Ministry of Health that extols 95% of covering vacinal. It is observed that in none of the two doses the total covering didn't obtain successes.
