{"title":"A STUDY OF THE PILLARS OF THE CORPORATE INTEGRITY AND COMPLIANCE PROGRAM OF THE BRAZILIAN SUPPORT SERVICE FOR MICRO AND SMALL ENTERPRISES—SEBRAE","authors":"Marcio Pires Fonseca, Marcello Pires Fonseca","doi":"10.29073/jer.v1i1.10","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.29073/jer.v1i1.10","url":null,"abstract":"Due to the great capillarity of operations throughout the Brazilian territory, the SEBRAE System (Brazilian Service of Support for Micro and Small Enterprises) is seen as fundamental for the growth and development of entrepreneurship and, consequently, for the country’s economic growth. The SEBRAE System has been observed by external supervisory bodies for its efficiency to society and for the large volume of financial resources transferred by the federal government, through the contribution of the companies’ payroll. In this way, it is believed that it is the right time to confirm the importance of the institution to society and show the supervisory bodies good practices with the implementation of the integrity and compliance program, demonstrating transparency and competence for the correct use of public resources. 12,846/2013, called the Anti-Corruption Law, where companies must comply with the requirements of the law, showing the elaboration and implementation of an integrity and compliance program, with its pillars highlighting its internal guidelines to identify the risks of the business and act preventively to detect and deal with possible deviations. Based on this principle, the issue at hand is how to disseminate the norms, rules and procedures described in the pillars of the integrity and compliance program in the SEBRAE System. Thus, the general objective of this article is to analyze the importance of the pillars of the integrity program of the SEBRAE system in relation to the culture of compliance, compliance with standards, guidelines and laws of the business in which the SEBRAE System operates. The retail banking sector has experienced significant transformations, and the process has been further accelerated by the Covid-19 pandemic. The shift towards digital banking has become essential due to market conditions, offering advantages such as differentiation from competitors, cost reduction, and improved customer engagement. This study aims to explore the strategies implemented by the banking sector during the digital transformation and examine the extent to which Covid-19 has influenced the growth of Digital Banking. The research methodology involved conducting a questionnaire survey among clients of banking institutions. The sample size for this study comprised 351 respondents. The survey findings indicate that, overall, respondents are content with the digital services provided by financial institutions. Nanotechnologies are born from the human possibilities of accessing the so-called nano scale: the scale that is equivalent to a billionth of a meter. When it comes to nanotechnologies and products generated from this scale, there is something new in research and production, which can generate effects that are still little known by human beings, especially through the interfaces with the human body and the environment. There is an openness to formulating regulatory environments, structured from a varied set of principles and designing agile, flexible and adequate “regulated self-regulation” models. The choice of the structuring principles of these directives must take into account the guidelines of ethics and be enriched with dimensions coming from the environment where these scientific-technological innovations. In a context of immersion of users in digital media, the dissemination of information implies an incessant need to update and consume content. Information is essential for the tourism sector and, therefore, technology becomes an indispensable tool for the qualified functioning of the sector. In view of this, the present work sought to analyze how electronic tools provide new realities of experiences in the tourism sector. It was decided to use bibliographical research in books and articles as methodological procedures, as it is a literature review on the subject. The results show a central core organized around the core concepts of Creativity, Company, Initiative, Innovation, Business, and Work. A first periphery was identified with terms such as Support, Autonomy, Development, Money, and Commitment. A second periphery contains aspects such as Determination, Leadership, and Realization. A contrasting core, referred to by a minority group, is composed of elements such as Power, Boldness, and Aspiration.
