When the pancreas produces insufficient insulin or the body cannot utilise it effectively. Diabetic Retinopathy (DR) and blindness are two major issues for diabetics. Diabetes patients increase the amount of data collected about DR. To extract important information and undiscovered knowledge from data, data mining techniques are required. DM is necessary in DR to improve society's health. Our study focuses on the early detection of Diabetic Retinopathy using patient information. DM approaches are used to extract information from these numeric records. The dataset was used to forecast DR using logistic regression, KNN, SVM, bagged tree, and boosted tree classifiers. Two cross-validations are used to find the best features and avoid overfitting. Our dataset includes 900 diabetes patients. The boosted tree produced the best classification accuracy (90.1%) with 10% hold-out validation. KNN also achieved 88.9% accuracy, which is impressive. As a result, our research suggests that bagged trees and KNN are good classifiers for DR.","PeriodicalId":36298,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Reliable and Quality E-Healthcare","volume":null,"pages":null},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-04-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"48883216","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

They affect patient's behaviour and beliefs. Their point of view with respect to medication adherence behaviour of patients is crucial for getting insights into the cause and effect relationship of factors of medication non-adherence. This paper tries to find the cause and effect relationship of seven factors based on physicians' perspective. With the help of paired comparison method, the expert belief of 30 physicians was captured using a structured questionnaire. DEMATEL analysis was done to find the cause and effect relationship between different factors. 'Belief that medication adherence is not important' emerged as the most important factor for medication non-adherence. If patients' beliefs can be modified through intervention, their behaviour may be altered, improving medication adherence rates.","PeriodicalId":36298,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Reliable and Quality E-Healthcare","volume":null,"pages":null},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"47804315","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Individuals with Cerebral palsy can also display symptoms of autism. Both conditions have varying degrees of severity, which can make it difficult to form a clear diagnosis. This research paper proposes the model-free green environment for the prediction of the above-mentioned disorders by doing gait analysis only with the camera. The new intelligent algorithm CAGLearner (cognitive analysis for gait) works on the standards of graphical extreme machines. CAGLearner uses the new powerful algorithm called bat optimized ELM for classification, which is then related with the prevailing machine learning algorithms such as artificial neural networks (ANN), support vector machines (SVM), and random forest (RF) algorithms in which the accuracy, sensitivity, and response time were analyzed. In terms of prediction time and precision, the model provided in this paper also yields more benefits.","PeriodicalId":36298,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Reliable and Quality E-Healthcare","volume":null,"pages":null},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"46207973","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

For most of the analyzing technique, sorting is considered as an implicit attribute of the technique used. The availability of huge data has changed the way data is analyzed across industries. Healthcare is one of the notable areas where data analytics is making big changes. An efficient analysis has the potential to reduce costs of treatment and improve the quality of life in general. Healthcare industries are collecting massive amounts of data and look for the best strategies to use these numbers. This research proposes a novel non-comparison based approach to sort a large data that can further be utilized by any big data analytical technique for various analyses.","PeriodicalId":36298,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Reliable and Quality E-Healthcare","volume":null,"pages":null},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"70461232","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Access to patient records and transactions related to diagnosis is helpful to patients and the health care department and executives. But this practice may lead to major privacy concerns of patients' private data. For EHR adaptation, the major elements are laws and regulations, monetary inducement and hurdles, technology state, and corporation effect. In this paper, I have proposed a Patient Controlled mechanism using the pseudonymization technique for ensuring the security and privacy of Electronic Health records. It is found that most of the potential approaches have used pseudonymization techniques to deal with the issues involved in a healthcare information system. This proposed solution is simple and efficiently ensures the privacy of patient data. Comparative analysis with other existing approaches has been undertaken.","PeriodicalId":36298,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Reliable and Quality E-Healthcare","volume":null,"pages":null},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"46497103","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The study focuses on virtual programs on meditation or mindfulness integrated with artificial intelligence (AI). That adds to the literature, which is relatively minor on this subject. Meditation can be a powerful organizational resource to improve employee efficiency, emotional stability, well-being, and stress. Young engineers of middle-hierarchy employed at PPS International, Greater Noida, Uttar Pradesh, India (n=30), all males, were given an eight-week meditation intervention. The experimental group showed significant and influential improvements over control-group participants of the World Health Organization (WHO)-issued quality-of-life scale. The different domains studied were perception, physical health, psychological health, social relationships, and environment.","PeriodicalId":36298,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Reliable and Quality E-Healthcare","volume":null,"pages":null},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"49268370","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The healthcare community is no exception. The present work is focused on the exchange of medical information, using the Health Level Seven (HL7) international standards. The main objective of the present work is to develop an AI model capable of inferring if for a given hour exists a peak in the number of exchanged messages. To accomplish that two different deep learning models were created, an Artificial Neural Networks (ANN) and Long-short Term Memory (LSTM). The intention is to observe which is capable to perceive the situation better considering the environment and features of a healthcare facility. Using laboratory-generated data was possible to simulate variations and differences in “traffic”. Comparing the LSTM vs ANN model, the first is capable of outputting peaks better but for considered mean values that do not happen. For the given context, predicting the peak is essential, so the LSTM is the right choice and uses fewer features that are good regarding performance.","PeriodicalId":36298,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Reliable and Quality E-Healthcare","volume":null,"pages":null},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"49310935","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Using conventional impression materials, the dentist captures intraoral details, and the dental technician uses impression for dental casts pouring. Intraoral scanners (IOS) are fast, accurate and more pleasant for a patient than conventional impression techniques and became a valid alternative to those procedures. Thirty-four dental students performed alginate and digital impressions on each other and filled two two-part questionnaires to reveal their preferences and expectations from both techniques. The results showed a statistically significant difference in time needed for digital and conventional impressions, with digital being faster. From the patient's perspective, the digital scan was more pleasant than the conventional impression. The majority of participants thought digital techniques would completely replace conventional techniques during their lifetime and find it necessary to implement new technologies in dental schools' curricula.","PeriodicalId":36298,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Reliable and Quality E-Healthcare","volume":null,"pages":null},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"45245329","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
