Short circuit interference will produce a fault current that is felt by protection equipment. Each fault current will differ depending on the distance of the interference. Determining the distance of interference can not be displayed in SCADA, SCADA will only display the amount of interference and which equipment works. Determination of distance is carried out after analysis by the officer. Based on this matter the compiler makes a simulation tool where the tool can monitor the location of the disturbance from the nearest protective equipment that feels a single phase short circuit interference. The simulation tool consists of Arduino Mega 2560 which functions as a control center. The input used is a potentiometer as a simulator of the impedance magnitude that occurs during a single phase short circuit where the potentiometer will provide input in the form of a signal. And Omron LY2N relay which functions as protection equipment. After the experiment, the results obtained are that the tool can determine the location of interference from the nearest protection equipment based on changes in the bits read by Arduino. The availability of clean water has been sought to be fulfilled in various ways. One of them is by making a clean water treatment plant that can process water that is not yet suitable for consumption to be more feasible and ready to be consumed for everyday life. The operation of water treatment plant is still manually operated such as in the Iron Removal Filter (IRF) control system so that the processing is not easy to operate. To facilitate the operation of a clean water treatment unit, a control system based on a Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) is created on the Iron Removal Filter (IRF) processing unit. Control system consisting of PLC, relay circuit, power supply and Human Machine Interface (HMI), works to control the clean water processing unit including controlling the process on the IRF automatically. Also made a prototype of a water treatment plant consisting of an aerator unit, an IRF unit, a storage tank, several pumps and several control valves to be controlled by the control system in operation. The control system uses PLC as a control center because PLC is a controller that is simple, easy to program and very reliable as already widely used in the industrial world. The PLC brand used is Omron because it is cheap, reliable and has software named CX-Programmer which is easy in programming. The control system uses laptop computer as an HMI in the operation. HMI uses VTScada software and is connected to a PLC using OPC CX-Server software. The control system that is made can control the clean water processing unit in the form of a prototype. Operation on HMI is so easy and has a very attractive appearance. Raw materials can be a liquid, solid and gas. The use of raw materials and way of mixing the raw materials that distinguish Batch Mixer design at each industry. In this thesis, design Batch Mixer consists of two tanks, namely the mixing tank and tank heaters. In the mixing tank, there HCSR-04 Ultrasonic sensor that functions as a detector of the level of the liquid level, and the stirrer motor-driven DC 12 V. While the heater tank, there MAX6675 Thermocouple temperature sensor and heater. There are also three pumps that pump fluid 1, pump 2 and pump fluid mixing. Batch Mixer working process is controlled automatically using the Arduino Uno R3 displayed via HMI Raspberry Pi. The use Arduino Uno R3 allows users to create a variety of issues related to the microcontroller. The control system is used to control the work process in a plant. The control system in the Batch Mixer works by two indicators: the water level and water temperature. In the manufacturing system, water temperature control using PID control (Proportional Integral Derivative) with PID tuning method to find the value of Kp, Kd, and Ki. Based on test results, use the most optimal value for use PID control value Kp = 60, Ki = 0.005 and Kd = 0.5. Sources of gelatin production generally derived from cow bones, pig skins, fish scales or chicken bones. Gelatin is widely used in food and pharmaceutical industries because of its ability to form a thermoreversible gel, among others as a stabilizer on ice cream, capsule making materials and matrix for implants. The main objective of this research is to make gelatin with chicken claw based ingredients through the process of collagen hydrolysis. Specifically aims to determine the effects of acetic acid concentration on the collagen levels, determining the most influential variable between temperature and time on the hydrolysis process, as well as the assessment and determination of the optimum temperature or time in the hydrolysis process so as to approximate the criteria corresponding to the commercial gelatin characteristics, i.e gel strength (50-300 Bloom), viscosity (1.5-7,5 cP), and gelatin sensory properties. To answer that goal, the research is planned through 2 stages, namely the preparation stage, product creation, and gelatin flour characterization. The preparatory stage consists of cleansing, reduction of chicken claw and demineralization. The production stage consists of determining the most influential variables and the optimum variable variations (temperature and time) of the collagen hydrolysis process into gelatin flour based on the functional properties and gelatin sensory properties.
