Therefore, it is considered that evaluation of corrosion resistance as well as wear resistance of AC8A material is also important to improve its property and to prolong its lifetime. In previous paper, the effect of solution(510 ℃ :4hrs) and tempering(190 ℃ : 16, 24, and 36 hrs)heat treatments to corrosion resistance and hardness were investigated using electrochemical method. In this study, in order to examine completely the effect of the tempering hours to hardness variation and corrosion resistance, the results of solution(510 ℃ :4hrs) and tempering(190 ℃ : 2, 4, 8 and 12hrs)heat treatments to hardness and corrosion resistance were investigated using electrochemical method. The hardness decreased with solution heat treatment compared to mold casting condition, but its value increased with tempering heat treatment. Furthermore, the corrosion resistance increased with decreasing of the hardness, and decreased with increasing of the hardness reversely. And the tempering heat treatment temperature at 190 ℃ for 8 hrs exhibited the highest value of the hardness and also indicated the highest corrosion current density. However, the values of hardness and corrosion current density was again increasingly decreased with increasing of .tempering hours than 8 hrs, Consequently, it is suggested that decision of the optimum. tempering hours is very important to improve the corrosion or wear resistance.","PeriodicalId":360692,"journal":{"name":"Power System Engineering","volume":"14 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2016-10-31","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"133349969","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

SKD11 steel was used with the material for cutting mold jig. In the cutting mold jig, Ti diffusion heat treatment after vacuum heat treatment was carried out for upgrade of surface hardness and anti-wear. Also, the heat treatments by various methods were performed to compare the wear damage degree against above the existing heat treatment. Wear loss and friction coefficient were obtained from wear test. And, micro Vickers hardness values were compared with damaged parts or not of cutting mold jig. Micro Vickers hardness value appeared higher at the undamaged part by Ti diffusion heat treatment. The micro Vickers hardness well followed a two-parameter Weibull probability distribution.","PeriodicalId":360692,"journal":{"name":"Power System Engineering","volume":"15 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2016-10-31","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"114578153","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

To do this task, the following steps are done. Firstly, an RGB color image of the fish is obtained by the CCD color camera and then converted from RGB to HSI. Secondly, the S channel is extracted from HSI color space. Thirdly, by applying the K-means clustering algorithm to the HSI color space and applying the Otsu’s threshold algorithm to the S channel of HSI color space, the binary images are obtained. Fourthly, morphological processes such as dilation and erosion, etc. are applied to the binary image. Fifthly, to count the number of pixels, the connected-component labeling is adopted and the defined injured rate is gotten by calculating the pixels on the labeled images. Finally, to compare the performances of the proposed two measurement methods based on the K-means clustering algorithm and the Otsu’s threshold algorithm, the edge detection of the final binary image after morphological processing is done and matched with the gray image of the original RGB image obtained by CCD camera. The results show that the detected edge of injured part by the K-means clustering algorithm is more close to real injured edge than that by the Otsu’ threshold algorithm.","PeriodicalId":360692,"journal":{"name":"Power System Engineering","volume":"30 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2016-08-31","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"129549004","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

At these boiler systems, because the combustible mixture fires as free flame in the combustion chamber, consequently the combusted hot gas heats the heat exchanger only as conductive and convective heat transfer. The present Porous Ceramic Burner concept is that combustion process is occurred at the gaps of the porous ceramic materials, and the heat exchanger is placed in the same porous materials. Therefore we can reduce the boiler size, and we can also use radiative heat transfer from ceramic material with conductive and convective heat transfer from combusted gas throwing the porous materials. The purpose of this study is to search the flame stability ranges at different fuel flow rate and excess air ratio burning in the Al2O3 ceramic balls. We found out the stable excess air ratio range on given combustion intensity. And we can get clean porous ceramic combustion results compared with free flame.","PeriodicalId":360692,"journal":{"name":"Power System Engineering","volume":"221 4 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2016-08-31","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"115147923","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
