Two algorithms are being investigated: Least Mean Square (LMS) and Recursive Least Square (RLS). The convergence of the algorithms is studied by investigating the effect of changing a number of parameters including number of interference signals, number of antenna elements, number of iterations, LMS step size, and RLS weighting factor.","PeriodicalId":360668,"journal":{"name":"11th International Symposium on Antenna Technology and Applied Electromagnetics [ANTEM 2005]","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2005-06-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"114876384","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In this contribution, design and results of a 24GHz microstrip array antenna with low loss, low cost and low profile NRD-guide feeding network are presented. Interconects between planar structures and NRD-guide feeding network are done by slot coupling. The feeding network for this antenna was implemented as NRD-guides, but in a later phase, it might be implemented as substrate integrated (SI) NRD-guides [1] with even lower production cost.","PeriodicalId":360668,"journal":{"name":"11th International Symposium on Antenna Technology and Applied Electromagnetics [ANTEM 2005]","volume":"65 2","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2005-06-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"133077149","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

We present here, the design of combined functions: we show how to combine a filter and an antenna in order to integrate the filter in the radiation diagram and the antenna in the filtering function. The association of the two functions presents an acceptable return loss and a selective radiated power. We offer the possibility to realize system with on one hand a satisfying return loss and on the other hand a radiated power less limited by the return loss.","PeriodicalId":360668,"journal":{"name":"11th International Symposium on Antenna Technology and Applied Electromagnetics [ANTEM 2005]","volume":"24 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2005-06-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"122212960","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Using U-shape wide slot (the width of slot is about 7.5mm), a wideband DRA can be obtained. There are two adjacent modes can be induced simultaneously; then, these two modes achieve wider bandwidth than pure slot fed dielectric resonator antenna. The bandwidth of U-shape wide slot reaches about 20%. By this design, the bandwidth is enhanced almost five times pure slot fed dielectric resonator antenna.","PeriodicalId":360668,"journal":{"name":"11th International Symposium on Antenna Technology and Applied Electromagnetics [ANTEM 2005]","volume":"5 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2005-06-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"128788359","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
