This mixed-signal device may be an element of a widely accessible cost effective system for continuous controlling of a patient's heartbeats as well as electronic fetal monitor. It may be used at home in an easy way and the recorded results may be delivered to the medical care staff for an immediate analysis and fast diagnosing. The use of an advanced microcontroller allowed for minimizing the construction complexity, the device size and its cost. The measuring module is supplied directly from USB port of a standard personal computer and it is equipped with a galvanic barrier that ensures the patient's safety. The demodulated analog waveform is sent real time to the computer by the means of isochronous data transmission (USB 2.0 compliant protocol). This data is ready for processing in a computer application that may allow for determining a tempo, both long- and short-term of heartbeats, its stability and other desired parameters.","PeriodicalId":360432,"journal":{"name":"2016 International Conference on Signals and Electronic Systems (ICSES)","volume":"46 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2016-09-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"125016610","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The approach is based on an analysis of measured combustion process parameters in the chamber. Measured parameters have been used to train neural network weights with a help of MATLAB program. The winner takes all formula has been used to train synaptic weights. Calculated weights have been used in the recall mode to find out the calorific value of the coal fuel loaded into the chamber. The winner takes all artificial neural network approach has been verified by the MATLAB program and in the FPAA implemented network. Obtained results are presented and discussed.","PeriodicalId":360432,"journal":{"name":"2016 International Conference on Signals and Electronic Systems (ICSES)","volume":"54 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2016-09-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"127929263","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

It is shown how the BY-LC IpDFT algorithm can be used for NMR spectrum quantification, i.e. 1) estimation of frequencies, damping factors (relaxation times), amplitudes and phases of signals components of interest, 2) phase correction of the whole spectrum or its selected fragment, 3) fast calculation of a reliable initial starting point for advanced optimization-based phase correction algorithms. The limited number of the cameras, though makes the system relatively practical, implies problems with proper depth estimation and virtual view synthesis, due to increased amount of the occluded areas. We present experimental results for the optimal positioning of the cameras, depending on two factors - characteristics of an acquired scene and the multi-camera system (linear or circular camera setup). The results show the correlation between the number of occlusions in the scene and a gain from using camera pairs instead of uniformly distributed cameras.","PeriodicalId":360432,"journal":{"name":"2016 International Conference on Signals and Electronic Systems (ICSES)","volume":"14 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2016-09-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"129791961","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

It is based on replacing the classical body of mathematics of the logic synthesis (Boolean algebra) – linear algebra. The features of the circuit implementation of operations of linear algebra necessitate going from the potential signals to the current ones. In particular, the new approach is developed, using linear operations, to give forms to initial linear logic structures, from which any logic elements can be further built. The paper considers the circuitry of the corresponding current logic elements of k-valued logics, realized on the base of classical technologies for practical use in the analog-digital interfaces and sensor systems.","PeriodicalId":360432,"journal":{"name":"2016 International Conference on Signals and Electronic Systems (ICSES)","volume":"44 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2016-09-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"128977603","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The method allows to calculate the observed circuit under test parameter based on the step response analysis. The approximating equation that models the relationship between the selected frequency components and the observed specification is determined by means of multiple linear regression. The representative arguments of the estimating functions are determined respectively to the correlation coefficient analysis. This technique may be easily implemented to the devices which contain the microcontroller and analog part of the electronic circuit for which the testing is recommended.
