Nowadays, the problem to build a new overhead line is a very difficult one because of land cost and different properties crossed by it, environmental impact, opposition of large public etc. Therefore, the solution to use same tower to support many circuits, with same or different rated voltage, also for AC and DC systems is very attractive. The main advantage is that of use of a narrow corridor to transmit a large amount of power. But other problems must be solved in order to make this type of line working properly, from solving the mutual influence of the circuits to lightning protection and up to the low frequency electromagnetic fields profile recorded near to ground.","PeriodicalId":359645,"journal":{"name":"2021 12th International Symposium on Advanced Topics in Electrical Engineering (ATEE)","volume":"81 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-03-25","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"127124270","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The estimation model is based on the long short-term memory (LSTM) network which is one of the deep learning models. The designed model includes three main steps as the preprocessing, training of the deep speed estimation model, and evaluation of the model with testing. The dataset of the asynchronous motor model is obtained in MATLAB/Simulink environment under variable step speed references. The input parameters of the network are the dq-axis currents (id, iq) and voltages (vd, vq). The output is selected as the rotor speed (wr). The whole data is normalized to increase the estimation performance and then randomly divided into the training and validation. For the testing stage, different test data is also constructed. In the training process, the variation of the network performance is analyzed according to the neuron number increasing and optimum neuron number is achieved. The obtained results show that the proposed model is robust and efficient under the variable step speed references.","PeriodicalId":359645,"journal":{"name":"2021 12th International Symposium on Advanced Topics in Electrical Engineering (ATEE)","volume":"185 2 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-03-25","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"124920083","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Estimating it as accurately as possible will allow obtaining optimal results considering both the amount of noise removed from the image and the quality of contour preservation. Estimating the dispersion by values lower than the correct one leads to the removal of a smaller amount of noise, and the estimation by higher values generates the blurring of the contours. In this article we propose an image processing architecture obtained from UAV based on wavelet decompositions for highlighting contours and recognizing/classifying objects.","PeriodicalId":359645,"journal":{"name":"2021 12th International Symposium on Advanced Topics in Electrical Engineering (ATEE)","volume":"38 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-03-25","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"126610773","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The converter aims to supply and charge portable devices (PDs) with variable DC voltage requirements in a range of 2.5 to 24 V and a power up to 300 W. The input is connected to a DC power supply of 30 V and 11 A. BC-SMC ensures the output voltage setup and control, it also limits the current that is supplied to the PD. The BC-SMC can switch between current control, when the PD charging process is at the beginning stage, or the voltage control at the end of charge or when simply supplying the PD. After testing the BC-SMC, it shows good performance, supplying up to 50 A for 5 V or lower voltage requirements, or more than 10 A at the 24 V, the highest voltage limit. The BC-SMC was developed to be included in a more complex equipment, which is targeted to connect to any electrical DC energy source, in a range of 1.5 to 300 V, and supply PDs with electrical requirements between: 2.5–30V and 0–50 A.","PeriodicalId":359645,"journal":{"name":"2021 12th International Symposium on Advanced Topics in Electrical Engineering (ATEE)","volume":"55 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-03-25","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"116200008","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
