The Boussinesq equations are used to model the beach with a constant slope, continuous submerged breakwater, and discontinuous/detached submerged breakwater. Our numerical simulation results show that the transient rip currents are generated near the shoreline at the beach with constant slope while the continuous submerged breakwater structure creates a calm beach area along the shoreline. The presence of the gap in submerged breakwater changes the currents along the shoreline by generating rip currents with two pairs of vortices. One pair of vorticities, located around the gap, damage the breakwater by transmitting sediments along the breakwater foundation and eroding its surface. The second pair, created near the shoreline, erodes the shoreline due to sediment transportation and leads to a dangerous and unsafe situation for swimmers. The rip current creates five main critical areas with the maximum velocity towards the shoreline and offshore. The first set of three areas (numbered 1, 2, 3) has an approximately average velocity of 1-1.25 m/s towards the shoreline. One of these areas (numbered 2) is located close to the shoreline and the other two (numbered 1 and 3) are found breakwater and the return velocity decreases for this structure. For smaller heights (d = 3.7 and 3.2) damping is nearly the same and the returning flow varies depending on the available space through the gap. Specifically, the return velocity for d = 3.7 is higher than that for d = 3.2. The results show that the maximum interfacial adhesion stress is at 70-80 mm from the free end of the samples, and increases with the increase of the expansive agent dosage. The expansive agent such as calcium sulphoaluminate and calcium oxide can effectively reduce the drying shrinkage performance of the core concrete, and then improve the interaction between steel tube and core concrete. The genset consists of the diesel engine, the generator, and the common base frame on elastic spring-damper elements clamped to foundations. The genset is exposed to the seismic load, the short circuit impulse, and the synchronization failure load. The problem is solved via the finite element method (FEM). In the FE model, the diesel engine and the generator are represented with two lumped masses rigidly connected to the base frame with sets of massless bars. Strength criteria are specified according to the Russian Federal Codes and Standards in the Area of Atomic Energy Applications. The selection of proper criteria for the category assessment is based, among others, on standard EN 16309+A1:2014-12. The article presents ways of assessing different characteristics by describing the category of maintenance and maintainability. Literature studies and numerous surveys are carried out in order to determine threshold values as well as the importance of the features characterizing the examined category. Then the way of obtaining an aggregated assessment of the examined category is presented. The obtained result is then compared with an identical reference object, enabling so to determine the degree of fulfilment of the social properties contained in the analysed category. Firstly, a calculation method of discrete curvature and torsion is designed to solve the difficulty of calculating curvature and torsion of discrete data points and eliminate effectively the noise interferences in the calculation process. Then, it takes curvature and torsion as the feature descriptors of the curve, searches the candidate matching line segments by the derivative dynamic time warping (DDTW) method with the feature descriptors, and records the positions of the starting and ending points of each candidate matching segment. After that, it designs a voting mechanism with the geometric invariant as the constraint information to select further the optimal matching line segments. Finally, it adopts the least squares method to estimate the rotation and transformation matrices and uses the iterative closest point (ICP) method to complete the reassembly of fragments. The experimental results show that the reassembly error is less than 1mm and that the reassembly effect is good. To gain competitive advantages in marketplaces and meet customer needs, manufacturers today seek the most economical and fastest fabrication schemes and strategies to produce their various goods, especially when commonality exists within these multiple end products. Inspired by the above viewpoints, this study uses a mathematical modelling approach for solving a multiproduct economic production quantity (EPQ) problem featuring scrap, delayed differentiation, and expedited rate on the fabrication of the common part. We build a two-stage multiproduct fabrication scheme. Stage one uses an accelerated rate to produce all necessary common parts for multi-item to shorten its uptime, while stage two fabricates finished products sequentially using a rotation cycle rule. Inevitable random scraps produced in both stages are identified and removed to achieve the anticipated quality.
