Because of this, mental health professionals need to be conscious of the fact that their traditional ethical obligations still hold even while using technology to offer a service. This scoping study examined the applicability of telepsychology among mental health practitioners as well as its ethical and clinical concerns. There is general agreement in this study that providing mental health treatments to clients via telepsychology is a realistic and practical option both before and after the epidemic. There was a clear pattern that the most prevalent clinical concerns were restricted nonverbal communication between the therapist and the client, communication difficulties in the therapeutic relationship, unsuitable to some mental health disorders, and clinician exhaustion. On the other side, privacy, and secrecy, insufficient telepsychology training and instruction, boundary-related concerns, insufficient telepsychology rules, and handling emergencies were significant ethical issues. These findings open the door to telepsychology, a workable method of providing mental health and psychosocial treatments that aim to reach clients across geographic boundaries and continue the transformative job of fostering change, healing, and growth among clients. Understanding these problems makes it easier for mental health practitioners to respond to future public health emergencies and other natural catastrophes","PeriodicalId":356865,"journal":{"name":"Diversitas Journal","volume":"38 22","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-04-06","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"140733903","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The results show that the physical and material culture of the school is the primary foundation for its development. Currently, there are problems in the school, such as insufficient indoor infrastructure, untimely equipment maintenance, and a lack of book resources; In terms of sports system culture, the school's teaching content, extracurricular activities, and competition system are relatively complete, but there is a lack of policy incentives; In terms of sports behavior culture, the school attaches great importance to the development of team cooperation projects, builds a platform for physical exercise, and actively promotes scientific exercise methods. But there are also problems such as insufficient awareness of students' exercise and insufficient cultural penetration of school sports behavior; In terms of sports ethics and culture, schools focus on cultivating awareness of participating in sports activities and guiding healthy sports behavior habits. However, there are also problems such as limited perspectives on students' understanding of problems and the need to improve their ability to resist setbacks. To promote the development of school sports culture, relevant paths are proposed: strengthening infrastructure construction, optimizing management systems, shaping positive sports behavior culture, and cultivating healthy sports moral culture.","PeriodicalId":356865,"journal":{"name":"Diversitas Journal","volume":"8 9","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-04-06","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"140735626","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

However, there were a handful of previous research on alcohol usage in the Philippines, particularly in Higher Education Institutions during the COVID-19 pandemic. With this current gap in mind, this study evaluated alcohol use among students at a Higher Education Institution in Metro Manila in order to offer evidence-based data for the formulation of alcohol-related health policy. Furthermore, this study is critical in developing an intervention program to assist students in diverting their focus away from alcohol intake. This study used an online survey form, with 564 students participated. The findings revealed that respondents have different preferences and patterns. Almost all of the respondents are aware of the dangers of excessive alcoholic beverage consumption; a large percentage determined that they do not have a drinking problem; a small percentage revealed that they have tried driving while under the influence of alcohol; and more than one-fourth of the respondents drank at least one glass of alcoholic beverages during enhanced community quarantine. The chi-squared test was also utilized to assess the difference between COVID-19 lockdowns and alcohol consumptions. \u0000","PeriodicalId":356865,"journal":{"name":"Diversitas Journal","volume":"38 19","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-04-06","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"140735338","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

A mismanaged inventory means disappointed customers, too much cash tied up in warehouses, slower sales, and sometimes detrimental to the work relation environment, investments and businesses, and most probably financial losses. Inventory control problems often result in record and physical count discrepancies which may ultimately lead to higher than preferred inventory levels. Conversely, accurate inventory records result in lower inventory investment and are the foundation for forecasting, ordering, tracking, vendor evaluation, dead stock, and administration plans and decisions. \u0000  \u0000The researcher observed that most of the application of the inventory system was sales and products. Through this study, the researcher applied inventory in terms of electrical maintenance relations which includes electrical supplies, devices and equipment, services, and electrical power consumption. An Agile software development methodology was used in developing the system. The inventory archive maintenance system was developed using Java, HTML, CSS, PHP, PhpMyAdmin, and MySQL. The Inventory System includes Messaging, Supplies Inventory, Job Orders, Repair Records, and Wattage Consumption. Integration of disciplines made the study finished and the user’s manual was produced for guides and references for the use of the system.","PeriodicalId":356865,"journal":{"name":"Diversitas Journal","volume":"17 8","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-04-04","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"140745489","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Swine farming is an ancient practice that dates back to 4900 BC, but its effectiveness may decrease as individuals increasingly rely on newer technological solutions. However, with the advent of QR codes, swine farming has taken on a new dimension, enabling farmers to collect real-time data on swine growth, health, and production. This study is specifically designed to improve the efficiency and profitability of swine farming, empowering farmers with accurate and timely information on the status of their swine. The system allows farmers to collect data quickly and easily on individual pigs, which can then be analyzed to identify any issues. This information can be used to help farmers make informed decisions about how to manage their swine farming operations, expand into new and more effective practices, and increase profitability. The eSwine system is a significant innovation in swine farming technology, providing a functional, usable, and reliable tool for farmers to manage their operations more effectively. With an average weighted mean of 3.65, eSwine is an essential asset for any farmer looking to maximize their profits while maintaining the health and welfare of their swine.","PeriodicalId":356865,"journal":{"name":"Diversitas Journal","volume":"144 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-03-21","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"140222950","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Empirical studies show that when people assume there are insufficient hours in the day and that they must work longer and harder than ever before, they experience feelings of time pressure, which in work contexts has led to job dissatisfaction, disconnection, poor performance, and absences because time constraints influence people's capabilities and the consequent effect on their decision-making processes. This study looks into how time pressure affects decision-making. This element has been identified as a critical decision- making determinant. Using a descriptive-correlational design, it identifies the impact of time pressure on the performance and decision-making styles among selected graduate students enrolled from different Universities in the Philippines. The study's findings determined respondents are frequently feel pressured with the work deadline and Unstable Workload has the lowest pressure points factor. Moreover, the results determined time pressure as a significant contributor to the decision- making of graduate students and indicates a favorable and significant relationship between time pressure and graduate students' decision-making styles. Furthermore, the study's findings provide useful insights into the difficulties that Graduate students experienced in managing their time in decision-making as professionals and students at the same time, and factors influencing student achievement and decision-making have been identified and analyzed.","PeriodicalId":356865,"journal":{"name":"Diversitas Journal","volume":"16 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-03-17","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"140235067","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Positioned within the theoretical framework of intertextuality, the study aims to unravel the complex relationships between the adaptation and the source material, offering a nuanced analysis of creative choices, character dynamics, and narrative shifts. By scrutinizing the portrayal of historical facts and the infusion of modern perspectives, the research sheds light on controversies surrounding the adaptation's departure from the original novels. Methodologically, thematic analysis guides the investigation, involving primary sources of Rizal's novels and the TV adaptation, supplemented by secondary sources such as scholarly articles and literary criticism. Following a systematic analytical process, the study seeks to enhance our understanding of the adaptation's intertextual features, including the role of characters like Klay, the influence of rogue characters such as Fidel, and the empowerment of female characters deviating from traditional portrayals. The exploration also extends to changes in character deaths and sparing Elias, providing valuable insights into the adaptation's unique narrative. This research not only contributes to the academic discourse on literary adaptations but also enriches our comprehension of historical narratives and cultural representations within the context of Rizal's masterpieces.","PeriodicalId":356865,"journal":{"name":"Diversitas Journal","volume":"65 2","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-03-17","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"140235164","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Through literature, this context was further explored to determine how is it possible for human to challenge the nature. This study aims to discover and explore the relationship of human and nature through a thematic analysis of two award winning novels, “The Old Man and The Sea” by Cuban author Ernest Hemmingway and “The Life of Pi” by Yann Martel, a Canadian writer. Through in-depth analysis, five themes emerged in this study, dominance of nature, respect for nature, spiritual intercession, perseverance, and skills over luck.
