When lowering the hoist and braking the trolley, the driven motors operate in a regenerative braking mode and feed some active power back into the electrical grid. Winter. If voltage network phase PD activity increases in one of medium, the RCC device shifts network neutral potential in such a way, that voltage of spoiled phase to earth decreases below PD extinction level. The approach expresses the input signal in the form of Fourier Transformation and adjusts the Fourier coefficients using Linear Adaptive Filters (Adaline). Two of the existing approaches using conventional Fast Fourier transformation (FFT) and FFT with modified W-H learning have been discussed with their merits and demerits. A new approach has been proposed using a network comprising three different Adalines and involving variable learning rate. This approach is able to mitigate the shortcomings of the existing techniques and is time efficient as well. The detailed architecture for the proposed approach has been discussed and the algorithm has then been tested on different test signals. The number of indefinite flashovers has increased significantly in last years causing a lot of problems to the TSO. Concluding the study one can argue that most of indefinite faults in power grid are in high probability caused by the wildlife, more specifically birds. The purpose was to develop a low cost device able to monitor the main standard indices such as the steady state RMS voltage, harmonic distortion, voltage fluctuation, voltage unbalance, voltage sags and swells, and power supply interruptions in real-time. Through a cellular module the device meter can send measurements and data to a remote server, as well as be remotely controlled and configured. Typically this has been evaluated through the solution of specific worst case scenarios. However this approach does not give a complete picture and its results may be misleading. This paper presents a Monte-Carlo based method for evaluating increasing wind penetration effects, through the development of voltage and frequency profiles for the power system buses. Wind turbine models and system operation considerations affecting the results are discussed. Robust and simply maintainable solutions are often required in practical applications besides highly-multifunctional programmable logic controllers developed for large industries. Software should be flexible for adoption to control processes and environment. Open-source software is under development and requires more effort. Perspective practical approach to high-quality automation and telemetry, based on open-source software and ultralow component cost is described in this paper. The paper deals with experiments which were realized in distribution network held by E.ON Czech Republic. There were made a few different faults (low-impedance, spark gap arc, damaged MV cable, 1.6 kΩ, 4 kΩ and unearthed console of concrete tower) for three different places, for tuned and untuned Petersen coil and for some types of faults for all phases too, that means forty eight experimental faults.
