The knowledge of temporal traffic patterns can help road users reduce their travel times by altering their departure time to avoid traffic jams at high traffic spots. This paper proposes an approach to help road users understand the temporal traffic patterns of a road segment with CongestionGrid, a platform for temporal visualization of congestion data. CongestionGrid highlights temporal patterns with respect to time-of-day and day-of-week by spatially arranging them in a grid as seen in Figure 1. The traffic states are represented by red, yellow, and green, which represent high traffic, normal traffic and low traffic, respectively. CongestionGrid allows users to explore the temporal traffic patterns by viewing the congestion data of a certain week or an aggregation of data over a period of time. The characteristics of biquadratic filter can be obtained without changing circuit topology. The proposed circuit is implemented using CMOS internal topology of Operational Transconductance Amplifier (OTA) and Uniform Distributed RC (URC) of single layer type. The frequency response parameters can be adjusted by the transconductance gains of the OTA and by changing the capacitance parameter of URC element without affecting the circuit's quality factor. The performance of the proposed filter circuit was simulated by PSpice. Its simulation results were performed for the low-voltage power supply with only 2V. In addition, the circuit is advantage that there is good magnitude response and low sensitivities of less than one unit. The simulation results are in good agreement with the theoretical calculations. Based on the use of smart phones as tracking device, the proposed approach has the ability to track vehicles automatically in realtime through our tailored made application without requiring external power in an 8 hour operating period. In addition, a customized map transformation is proposed in order to cater for areas where location is not available through standard map services such as Google Map. These features are well suited for small scale vehicle tracking service with bus stops that are closely located such as exhibitions and conferences. The proposed system has been successfully deployed in an annual exhibition, NAC 2013 held at Thailand Science Park. Quantitative and qualitative studies have been carried out in order to evaluate the proposed system. Since optical sensors in some satellite such as THEOS do not cover the whole wavelength range of red, green and blue color spectrums, the captured images may appear to have unnatural colors. It is imperative to correct the unnatural colors in these images. To achieve this goal, we must first measure the color naturalness of satellite images. As a result, we propose a novel metric for measuring color naturalness through the satellite image color naturalness index (SICNI). Here, the SICNI is desired to measure color naturalness of satellite images based on the perception of the human visual system. We compare the SICNI with evaluation from satellite image experts, and achieve the correlation score of 0.897. The historical documentary films are also employed distinction ambient sounds to simulate the ancient atmospheres in which do not exist in the current time. This type of sound is one of very important factors in the film industry production because it helps to create the visual imagination. However, the Thai film industry has borrowed the ambient sound from the international sound effects which are ready-made sounds in a sound library. The way of sound borrowing is caused to the low sound quality in the film because it lacks of many sound components which are necessary to construct the identities of a realistic local sets, and a recording situation of an actual environment. It, moreover, causes easily noise in the sound quality. Therefore, the author would like to propose a new framework of the ambient sound design, to create an ancient sound ambient for the film scenes through a synthesis process of sound design. In this paper, we proposed a shared relay beamforming scheme for multi-user multi-cell (MCMU) cooperative networks. Here, the multi-cell shared a relay cell for cooperation. By doing so, the average throughput is increased. Hence, the migration planning is a significant issue for improving performance of mobile agent. In this paper, we propose an improving method for finding path of mobile agent migration planning based on Cuckoo Search Algorithm. Our proposed method modified the original Cuckoo Search Algorithm in two ways. That is, for the first one: in finding new nest, we propose random replacement instead of Lévy fight algorithm. Then, for the second one: in destroying egg, we propose a context sensitive parameter instead of a constant parameter. The proposed method combines two well-known spectrum sensing techniques such as energy detection (ED) and maximum eigenvalue detection (MED). At first stage, we will use ED to find power average of received signal. The range of power average can separate into two cases: certain and uncertain area using double-threshold scheme. Certain area is the range of power average that ED can absolutely decision about the presence or absence of primary user (PU). For uncertain area, it is the range of power average that ED can't make decision about the status of PU. At second stage, in uncertain area, we will use MED to detect primary user instead ED. In simulation results, we present the optimum value of double-threshold for the proposed technique and we consider three wireless microphone signal environments. Moreover, we compare the probability of detection between ED, MED and the proposed technique. Especially, in Asian countries, a lot of messages about the earthquake were posted, so that different topics such as concerning about damages by the earthquake, afflicted people were observed, etc. observed. These topics can be recognized as reactions to the earthquake. Therefore, exploring topics related to the earthquake on social media in Asian countries gains a rich insight into the Asian social context. The goal of our research is to analyze Asian people reactions to the East Japan Great Earthquake on social media using data mining technique. As the first step, this paper targets Thai language and conducts the preliminary approximation to investigate topics on Thai social media.
