Due to the fact that the collection of zakat, infaq, and sadaqah has not yet reached its full potential, it is crucial to study Muzakki's behavior on the fintech platform. This study expands on prior research by introducing new variables based on knowledge of internal and external factors. This study employed a qualitative approach. Nine samples were obtained through Muzakki from individuals who had paid zakat, infaq, and sadaqah through the fintech platform. This study's data analysis involved data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. According to research, Muzakkis have diverse motivations for selecting fintech platforms as payment methods for zakat, infaq, and sadaqah. They cited internal considerations as the primary reason for selecting the QRIS and CoopLink fintech platforms as zakat, infaq, and sadaqah payment platforms. Then, external factors are influenced by the workgroup that an individual joins and the surrounding environment. Regardless of the diversity of motivational factors in this study, all informants felt the same way when using the fintech platform to pay zakat, infaq, and sadaqah: curiosity and ease. And based on the findings of this study, it is possible to conclude that the selection of the appropriate payment method can influence the collection of zakat, infaq, and sadaqah.","PeriodicalId":355993,"journal":{"name":"ZISWAF: JURNAL ZAKAT DAN WAKAF","volume":"12 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-06-16","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"130715254","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Through the Boerka Superior Goat Breeding Center Program in Tanah Datar Regency, West Sumatra, this study aims to investigate how zakat is utilized based on the local geographical potential. Case study methodology is used as the qualitative research approach. Interviews and observations are employed as data collection techniques. The data analysis was conducted using the interactive data analysis model. According to the findings, the model consists of three phases: planning, implementation, and monitoring and evaluation. Several activities comprise the preparation of the program, including the formation of a management team, the selection of areas and mustahiks, and the provision of goats, forage seeds, and mentors. As part of the program's implementation, selected mustahiks will receive assistance in the form of training in recording, pen construction, disease prevention, and feed processing. During the monitoring and evaluation phase, the team conducted routine and ongoing monitoring and assessed the program's progress. This new basis in the utilization of zakat must be considered and implemented by zakat institutions, as it is insufficient to consider only the human factor, as local potential factors, including geographical potential, are also important in the utilization of zakat. Using zakat in a manner that prioritizes local geographical potential is anticipated to significantly enhance the quality of life for mustahiks.","PeriodicalId":355993,"journal":{"name":"ZISWAF: JURNAL ZAKAT DAN WAKAF","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-06-16","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"130051311","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

However, the value of the increase in zakat receipts is not proportional to the potential of zakat. Research on zakat behavior using digital platforms is important considering the lack of realization of zakat collection compared to the existing potential. This study develops the UTAUT model by adding knowledge of zakat as a moderated variable. A quantitative approach is used in this research. The number of respondents in this study was 200 who were obtained through convenience sampling based on questionnaires distributed online. Data analysis was performed using partial least square-structural equation modeling (PLS-SEM). The results showed that performance expectancy, social influence, and facilitating conditions had a positive effect on behavioral intention to use digital zakat payment. Meanwhile, the moderating effect shows that knowledge of zakat moderates the relationship between performance expectancy and behavioral intention. These results have implications for the need to increase the effectiveness of digital zakat payments, have influencers who educate about zakat payments using digital, and increase the choice of zakat management institutions that accommodate digital payments so that the intention of muzakki to pay zakat using digital payments is increasing. The moderating effect implies that for muzakki who have higher knowledge of zakat, the level of trust and effectiveness of digital payments can increase the desire to pay zakat through digital payments.","PeriodicalId":355993,"journal":{"name":"ZISWAF: JURNAL ZAKAT DAN WAKAF","volume":"70 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-04-18","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"133159405","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In addition to scholarships, the empowerment model also improved, zakat funds are also used for the development of Educational and Da'wah Institutions, including for schools, campuses, dormitories, and mosques. In At-Taubah 60, there is no mention of the Board of Education and Da'wah included in the asnaf who are entitled to receive zakat. Thus, the question arises as to how the legal position of the use of zakat funds for the benefit of the development of educational institutions and da'wah, whether the law is allowed according to sharia or not. This study used a qualitative library research method. The conclusion of this article states that zakat funds are allowed for the construction of educational and da’wah institutions, by using the reason for the \"generality of interpretation\" of the word sabilillah ( في سبيل الله ) in At-Taubah: 60 as one of the parties entitled to receive zakat. If the zakat funds for asnaf sabilillah still use the classical meaning, which means only for war, then the scope will be very narrow.
