With the voluminous growth of data, threat to individual's private information also grows. Developing useful data mining models without accessing private information has become a major concern. Many studies on data perturbation techniques for protecting sensitive data focus on adding noise to the original data. Manipulating Gaussian noise to the sensitive data has somehow balanced the privacy preservation and the utility of data mining. This paper deals with perturbing sensitive data using Gaussian noise and builds a secure kNN classifier model that provides secured mining. We propose an efficient approach that aims to provide better secured data mining result with minimum information loss.","PeriodicalId":355852,"journal":{"name":"2016 World Conference on Futuristic Trends in Research and Innovation for Social Welfare (Startup Conclave)","volume":"324 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2016-02-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"122495168","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Because of less expensive and effective concern of network operators, energy consumption of the infrastructure of cellular networks has become a popular research topic. The energy saving at base transceiver station can be achieved by using three basic power saving phenomena's: sleep mode, power saving strategy and power saving mechanism (e.g. RAPS algorithm) or improving design of renewable hardware (e.g., power amplifier) to make it more energy-efficient. The powers saving strategy are power control, antenna adaptation and discrete transmission. This strategy are used to reduce power consumption in base transceiver station.","PeriodicalId":355852,"journal":{"name":"2016 World Conference on Futuristic Trends in Research and Innovation for Social Welfare (Startup Conclave)","volume":"66 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2016-02-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"114065970","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The antenna elements are placed perpendicularly to each other to achieve good isolation. The antenna consists of two monopole antenna elements printed on one side of Roger substrate of 0.8mm thickness. Partial ground is used for the two monopoles which is connected by a short ground strip to form a common ground. Two long ground stubs are added with ground planes to increase the bandwidth and enhance isolation. To study the antenna performance in terms of reflection coefficients simulation and measurement are performed, thus mutual coupling, radiation pattern, realized peak gain, efficiency and envelope correlation coefficient for pattern diversity are studied. Results show that the MIMO antenna has an impedance bandwidth of larger than 3.1-10.6 GHz, low mutual coupling of less than 15 dB, and a low envelope correlation coefficient of less than 0.2 across the frequency band.","PeriodicalId":355852,"journal":{"name":"2016 World Conference on Futuristic Trends in Research and Innovation for Social Welfare (Startup Conclave)","volume":"29 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2016-02-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"114426179","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Intelligent way of channel sensing strategies reflected directly to the major performance factors like end-to-end delay, interference, packet loss ratio and energy consumption. Since most of the CR devices are low power handheld devices, we need simpler and efficient channel sensing strategies. In this paper, improved history based channel sensing problems for multiple cognitive users (CU) networks are effectively modeled through channel deciding factor (CDF) from each available channel. The proposed sensing scheme improves both the misdetection ratio and energy consumption of participating radio devices. Each device in cooperative cognitive radio network decides its next channel by sharing the deciding factors with others; this will extend the sensing space of CR network.","PeriodicalId":355852,"journal":{"name":"2016 World Conference on Futuristic Trends in Research and Innovation for Social Welfare (Startup Conclave)","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2016-02-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"130000889","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Forests cover approximately 30% of land on the earth. As compared to forest expansion by natural or planting, the deforestation rate is always higher. Forest fire is the most notorious danger which entirely ruined the environment of the forest. These giant size fires can spread out and change the direction rapidly from its source. It is very difficult to monitor and control the fires in remote and vast areas like forest. In this research work modified fuzzy c-means clustering approach had proposed for the identification and the extraction of the region of forest fires. The experiment is conducted on both RGB and CIELab color space. The outcome of the modified fuzzy c-means clustering method had compared with K-means clustering method based on the evaluation of the image quality parameters. Experimental results had demonstrated the efficiency for the proposed approach for the detection and segmentation of forest fires in high resolution satellite images.","PeriodicalId":355852,"journal":{"name":"2016 World Conference on Futuristic Trends in Research and Innovation for Social Welfare (Startup Conclave)","volume":"4 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2016-02-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"122569205","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
