Despite spending 12% of gross domestic product, healthy life expectancy is making little progress, chronic diseases affect 35% of the population, and health inequalities are widening. It is based on an integrative health approach inspired by the Dutch Buurtzorg model. Promoting the use of the Omaha System reference framework, it encourages support for self-determination. Yet sexual health remains a taboo subject in psychiatry. The sexual health education program in psychiatry addresses this issue in six sessions in a comprehensive and preventive way, including romantic relationships and risk reduction. Obstacles include both their demanding training and their delicate social position. Sometimes inaccurate representations of their role create tensions and misunderstandings. Finally, doctors' reluctance to delegate some of their tasks, notably because of professional monopolies, hinders their full recognition.
