Neither fully assignable to a specific status nor reducible to a fixed role, he eludes the usual frameworks upon which disciplinary narratives are constructed. Yet this enthusiasm quickly waned, and healthcare workers were once again overlooked. This is not the first time they have been treated as heroes, only to be forgotten. In fact, it is a historical pattern in France. Why is that? More specifically, it develops the idea that time has evaporated for the anorexic subject (who lives outside of time). This distortion leads to compulsive behaviors - such as feeling compelled to act urgently or avoiding empty spaces - which are an organized response to the inability to contextualize emotions within a temporal framework. Through a feminist and political analysis, it highlights that historical knowledge is either overlooked or reduced to the figure of Florence Nightingale.
