The purpose of the workshop on handling hearing aids is to help caregivers handle these technologies used to correct hearing loss in the elderly. In residential facilities for dependent elderly people (Ehpad), the VSM is almost non-existent and is requested by the majority of doctors who have to take medical care of a resident, often in an emergency situation. Following the health crisis and under the aegis of the regional and national associations of coordinating physicians, a working group was set up in 2021 to create a unique VSM that meets the needs of the field. This document was created and tested with very favorable feedback from users. We have designed and implemented a psycho-educational program for family caregivers of institutionalized patients. A preliminary study showed that this program was feasible, gave satisfaction to the caregivers and improved their understanding of the functioning of the institution, their communication with the professionals of the institution and their relationship with their relative in the institution.
