This risk is even greater with Parkinson's disease. This research highlights the fact that, during walking, the need for cognitive resources increases with age and with Parkinson's disease. It also demonstrates that after an intensive exercise program, the demand for resources is reduced. Like other French people, people from different waves of immigration face the challenge of aging and the risk of developing neurodegenerative disease. However, neuropsychological tests to detect cognitive disorders are not well suited to this population. They usually occur after hyponatremia has been corrected too rapidly, resulting in osmotic demyelination syndrome. This article analyses the risk factors and the clinical, radiological, therapeutic and prognostic features of these conditions.
