The avalanche principle of a Marx circuit is analysed. and the triggering circuit and ten stages Marx circuit board are designed. A series of negative pulses with falling edge time about 2ns,voltage amplitude from about 700V to 1600V and pulse width below 6ns are obtained when the Marx circuit is ten stages based on the FMMT415 and FMMT417 by changing the charging voltage and the capacity. The pulse waveforms based two kinds of avalanche transistors are compared. The results are that a higher peak pulse can be get based on the FMMT417 than the FMMT415, the peak value will be lager when the charging voltage is higher, and pulse-width will be lager when the capacities are bigger within a certain limit.","PeriodicalId":355180,"journal":{"name":"2013 Cross Strait Quad-Regional Radio Science and Wireless Technology Conference","volume":"23 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2013-07-21","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"125745186","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The proposed antenna array features fewer elements, lower profile, and better performance than existing designs. The insert microstrip feeding network makes it convenient to adjust input impedance of the array. The optimal structure of the antenna array was determined by investigating the effect of antenna structure parameters on return loss of the array. The antenna array with optimal structure dimension was fabricated and measured. Both simulation and measurement results show that the operating frequency bandwidth of the antenna array for |S11| >10 dB covers a wider bandwidth of 11.4 GHz - 12.8GHz. Far field measurements in the E and H planes show that the proposed design can achieve the desired radiation patterns.","PeriodicalId":355180,"journal":{"name":"2013 Cross Strait Quad-Regional Radio Science and Wireless Technology Conference","volume":"32 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2013-07-21","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"126730558","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The network is composed of three directional couplers and microstrip delay lines. By adjusting the coupling factor of the two parallel coupled line directional couplers and the length of the delay lines, the proposed SICN is able to produce an optimized reference signal with approximate equal amplitude and 180° phase difference to the self-interference signal (SIS), and the cancellation of SIS is thus achieved. Numerical simulation results of the proposed network shows a better reflection coefficient level less than -23 dB over the LTE band of 2.5GHz - 2.57GHz. The cancellation ratio is more than 12dB, while the insertion loss of receive channel is about 0.12dB. Another numerical example for the band of 2.62GHz - 2.69GHz is also simulated and discussed. Details of the proposed cancellation network designs are described and the simulated results are presented and discussed.","PeriodicalId":355180,"journal":{"name":"2013 Cross Strait Quad-Regional Radio Science and Wireless Technology Conference","volume":"138 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2013-07-21","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"133898009","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The radially-drilled-holes structure of the effective dielectric is illustrated and the formulas for calculating the dielectric constant are also presented. Base on the design method, a 30cm two-layered luneberg lens, operating at Ku/K band, is then designed, and a hemisphere lens with reflective ground plane is also taken into account in the design to reduce the profile height and the weight of the antenna. Simulated results are then presented. The gain/efficiency of the antenna is 31.0dBi/81.6% and 34.5dBi/67.9% at 12.5G and 20.45G respectively. It is shown that the lens made from this effective material with radially-drilled-hole structure has the advantage of low loss and isotropy as compared to those made from the traditional foamed dielectric.","PeriodicalId":355180,"journal":{"name":"2013 Cross Strait Quad-Regional Radio Science and Wireless Technology Conference","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2013-07-21","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"129359166","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The hybrid scheme is presented by integrating the BP algorithm with the bit-flipping function which is used as adaptive weighted factor in the BP iteration decoding. The adaptive weighting factor is based on the average weighted reliability measure of the hard output of decoder. The proposed hybrid adaptive weighted iteration scheme can efficiently increase the convergence speed of the belief propagation decoding and therefore improve the error performance. Simulation results show that the proposed algorithm can significantly reduce the decoding complexity and achieve better error performances as compared with the sum-product algorithm.","PeriodicalId":355180,"journal":{"name":"2013 Cross Strait Quad-Regional Radio Science and Wireless Technology Conference","volume":"14 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2013-07-21","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"131118861","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
