Historically, the RISC vs. CISC wars raged in the 1980s when chip area and processor design complexity were the primary constraints and desktops and servers exclusively dominated the computing landscape (Patterson D.A & Ditzel D.R, 1980). Today and particularly in developing economies like Nigeria, energy and power pose the primary constraints to architecture design and the computing landscape is significantly different occasioned by growth in tablets and Smartphone's running ARM (a RISC ISA) is surpassing that of desktops and laptops running x86 (a CISCISA). Furthermore, the traditionally low-power ARM ISA is entering the highperformance server market, while the traditionally high-performance x86 ISA is entering the mobile low-power device market.ICT has given rise to a host of legal and ethical issues and challenges in the use of ICT for education. All array of both teaching and technical staff as well as students need to know to a reasonable extent about the issues and challenges in the use of ICT for education (Ogbomo. E.F, 2011). It has been severally been suggested in various academic climes of the need for teachers and students to be above reproach as succinctly put by Crossley. S.A. & McNamara, D.S, 2021 ‘in understanding the basic issues (effectiveness, cost, equity, and sustainability), as well as the challenges (infrastructure related challenges, capacity building challenges, challenges related to financing the cost of ICT use, to mention but few) surrounding the use of ICT in education and then apply those issues as principles in practice’. The essence of this study is to attempt presenting the appropriate methods in which ARM X86, CISC and RISC can be taught with ease for students in Nigerian Universities to the effect that Institutions lack adequate number of computers and relevant ICT accessories and/or soft and hardwires in laboratories. The methods which was used initially was making use of Projectors for the students in their class rooms and the use of microphone speakers to teach the students in addition to having to cope with extended lectures periods as a result of downtimes. The hindrances notwithstanding, when this method was initiated students had a better theoretical understanding of ARM X86, CISC and RISC because as in agreement with the submission of Bhandarkar. D&Clark. W.D, 1991; in order to achieve results better comprehension and quicker understanding by Students, videos were deployed as lectures were on-going to augment the prospects and constraints of the teaching and delivery of computer architecture. When various methods (Wireless LAN (WLAN), computers/laptops, and other technologies were taken into cognizance, in the teaching and practical delivery of computer architecture, it was observed that the students’ comprehension ","PeriodicalId":354718,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Advanced Engineering and Management Research","volume":"123 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"1900-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"129865511","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This development is also generated by the evolution of many new business models in the field and also by new technologies in form of smart grids, smart meters, demand response, smart homes peer-to-peer trading, blockchain, Internet of Things and not the least artificial intelligence. These technologies altogether have a great contribution to the field of electricity, furthermore conjointly make the digitalization of the electricity supply, trading, generation and transportation. The objective of the research is to determine the degree to which consumers agree to work with an aggregator to implement demand response programs. Additionally, there is an interest to research those services what makes these programs more attractive to electricity prosumers and consumers (both households and industry) as well to identify those triggers which make electricity consumers or prosumers to start utilizing them. We have to keep in mind that demand-side management beside offering monetary benefits and incentives, also assists final consumers and prosumers in energy management in the meaning of increasing the level of optimal generation and consumption and decreasing energy wastes. Beyond the abovementioned facts, the aim is on the decrease of carbon dioxide emissions generated by pollutant fossil fuel electricity generation and positively affecting global warming, without endangering the good functioning of electricity systems. Awareness and education have a greater role in achieving a more rational, conscious and optimal consumption of electricity though demand response programs. The issue has to be raised to the level of acceptance and importance similar to what recycling of other recyclable materials have these days, such as plastic, paper, various glass and metals.","PeriodicalId":354718,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Advanced Engineering and Management Research","volume":"18 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"1900-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"125090414","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Reduced fresh air intake raises concerns about natural ventilation systems and the need to provide users with a comfortable indoor climate. The pace at which heat is expelled from a building's interior surfaces increases with vent size, putting residents' health at risk and causing discomfort. The study aimed to evaluate critical factors that contribute to poor natural ventilation in residential buildings, and its associated effects. A quantitative research approach was adopted using purposive sampling for data collection due to undefined residential buildings. 215 questionnaires were distributed to occupants of residential buildings within six (6) selected communities within the Atwima Nwabiagya Municipality. 210 completed questionnaires were collected and analyzed using mean and relative importance index (RII) score ranking. From the findings, nineteen (19) identified variables categorized into three (3) main factors contribute to poor natural ventilation of residential buildings. The most critical factor is unplanned building design and usage with an average RII of (0.955). Most privately owned residential buildings were built with no professional consultation aiming to avoiding professional cost. Eleven (11) variables grouped under four (4) main effects were identified as effects associated with poor natural ventilation, the top-ranked ranked effects were Health risk with an average RII of 0.930. Good natural ventilation is a determinant factor for sustaining occupants’ satisfaction and wellbeing. Therefore, it was recommended that purpose of room space should be well defined before its design and construction. Public education on the need to engage experienced professionals in design and construction should be intensified. The paper affirms to the relevance of natural ventilation for occupants in residential buildings; also, usefulness to engage construction professionals and clients.","PeriodicalId":354718,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Advanced Engineering and Management Research","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"1900-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"125817491","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Light intensity is one of the causes of this fluctuating voltage. The resulting voltage is directly proportional to the intensity of the light. It is necessary to implement a converter system to increase efficiency in the solar panel system. The converter with an insert buck-boost topology is designed to regulate the direction of power in and out of the battery. Setting the direction of the flow of power is considered important in order to increase the efficiency of the solar panel system. This research focuses on the design and implementation of the Online Insertion TwoWay DC-DC Converter. The converter functions to connect the storage media and the DC Bus and smoothes the output current with a phase shift of the PWM signal by 180°. The phase shift feature is set using the ATMEGA328P minimum system. In addition to functioning as a buck (charging) and boost (discharging) battery, there is also an online monitoring function. The online monitoring feature is designed to display the DC Bus voltage value and battery voltage, while the online controlling feature allows users to manually change the converter mode from buck to boost or vice versa. The test results show that the Insertion Bidirectional DC-DC Converter can produce a stable voltage according to the given duty cycle. The average efficiency is 88% for buck mode and 92% for boost mode. In the blynk application, it can display the DC Bus voltage and battery voltage and the user can change the converter mode manually.","PeriodicalId":354718,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Advanced Engineering and Management Research","volume":"31 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"1900-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"121576443","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The obvious consequence is the proliferation of uncontrolled dumps that annoy for the population. The aim of this work is to present the current situation of waste management in this city for a more effective and sustainable intervention. A descriptive and analytical study was conducted. The choice of purposive sampling was adopted and mainly concerned institutions, pre-collection and collection structures involved in waste management. Excel software was used for data processing and Arc-View to produce the maps. The results show sixteen (16) pre-collect waste structures from 31.50% of households in the city of Parakou with rudimentary and insufficient equipment and understaffed staff for an average of 4.11 garbage collectors per structure. As for collection, the two companies that collect waste from the collection points to the final dump are no longer working. Thus, the collection points are overflowing, the waste is up to the level of the storefront and makes it difficult to move around. So, the garbage collectors are forced to go to the final dump, but 10.30% of them dump the waste on the illegal dumps. Dumps proliferate in the city and generate olfactory and visual nuisances that constitute a danger to the health of the population. 66.67% of NGOs raised issues related to complaints from people living near the dumpsites. It is therefore crucial to strengthen both financially and technically the structures involved in waste management and opt for management based really on recovery.","PeriodicalId":354718,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Advanced Engineering and Management Research","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"1900-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"130364890","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This region is one of the most active and swiftly deforming domains of the Alpine–Himalayan mountain belt in Turkey. The plate boundary is shaped by the subduction of the African Plate under the Aegean-Anatolian plate consists of the Aegean and Cyprean arcs. The two separate slabs occurred along the plate border related to these arcs. These subducted slabs are separated by a gap beneath Western Anatolia. These arcs intersect in the eastern Mediterranean region and form the tectonic structures, north cusps, the Isparta Angle depending on the subduction. The Isparta Angle caused by the slab is located to the North of Antalya Bay as reverse V shaped. In this study, 3D seismic tomography method was applied to determine the subduction geometry of slabs along the Aegean and Cyprean arcs in the Eastern Mediterranean region. The 3- Dtomographic results obtained by using the arrival times data collected 39,059 earthquakes have revealed concrete results about subduction zones. P wave velocity structure has been compared with the tectonic structures. The tomographic results show that two separate slabs occurred along Aegean and Cyprean arcs. The tear zone between these two slabs is the Fethiye Burdur Fault Zone (FBFZ) and the Astenospheric upwelling occurs in the Fethiye Bay and continues northward from there. It has been determined that there are two slabs dipping to the northeast under the Antalya Bay and to the north under the Gökova Gulf. Based on the tomographic results, it has been determined that the subduction in these region continues to the depth of ~ 100 km. The subducted African lithosphere plays important role in the evolution of southwest Anatolian tectonic structures.","PeriodicalId":354718,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Advanced Engineering and Management Research","volume":"15 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"1900-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"134218198","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Its purpose is to ensure the continuity of the material to be assembled, the quality of which depends on the proper functioning of the welding technique. Penetrant testing is a non-destructive test that consists of implementing investigative techniques to judge \"without destruction\" the state of the weld joint. The final objective of this work is to develop an opinion on the suitability of the welding joint of different thicknesses. Thus, metal specimens of different thicknesses were inspected. The results obtained show that, for small thicknesses, the defects are minimal and increase considerably, proportionally with an increase in the thickness of the welded parts. This analysis can be a way to facilitate the location of surface defects in order to reduce defects during welding operations.","PeriodicalId":354718,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Advanced Engineering and Management Research","volume":"195 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"1900-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"134280453","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Massive MU (multi-user), (MIMO) multiple-input-multiple-output technique gives a significant SE (spectral efficiency) using easy techniques precoding while high EE (energy efficiency) is expected to be offered. Our paper works on two famous schemes, linear precoding Zero-Forcing and Maximum-RatioTransmission taking into account of system circuit power consumption, where that important aspect was ignored in the literature. Both EE (energy efficiency) and SE (spectral efficiency) are considered to be the important key indicators in 5G and beyond communications, which need to be taken into account at the same moment with respect to nowadays environmental consideration. To realize an optimal tradeoff between SE-EE, that precoding schemes are been formulated under CSI-imperfection (channel state information) in a realistic way. Simulation results illustrate that our proposed method achieves better optimal balance between Energy Efficiency and Spectral Efficiency. Under Matlab experimentation, simulation result shows an optimal performance, while tradeoff aspect is observed clairly between SE and EE using such two precoders algorithms. Although such tradeoff SE-EE coincide at first but later on their interests become conflicting and divergent then leading EE to so gradually decrease while SE continues increasing logarithmically. ZF pre-coding method is the appropriate scenario to achieve higher pre-coder performance.","PeriodicalId":354718,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Advanced Engineering and Management Research","volume":"23 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"1900-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"122980185","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Organoleptic characters investigated were size, colour, odour, taste and texture of the dried powdered pawpaw peel, pulp and the pawpaw drink. Phytochemical screening involved testing each of dried powdered pawpaw peel and pulp for different classes of secondary plant metabolites. The methods used for detection of the various phytochemicals include qualitative chemical tests to give general idea regarding the nature of constituents present in the different solvent extracts of the powdered Pawpaw peel and pulp. The powdered peel was found to be brown in colour, sticky and tasted bitter indicating that the peel contained alkaloids. The sweet taste of the pulp indicates the presence of carbohydrates. The results of phytochemical screening indicated that the dried powdered peel of ripped pawpaw fruit tested positive for starch, glucose, proteins, sterols, Alkaloids, tannins, flavonoids and phenolic compounds, fats and oils, glycosides and saponins while the driedpulptested positive for starch, glucose, glycosides and saponins. The dried Powdered peel of ripped pawpaw fruit contains more secondary plant metabolites than the dried pulp. It is therefore suggested that the peel should be included in the future formulation of the Pawpaw Juice. The results of the sensory evaluation of the Pawpaw Juice served to 40 semi-untrained panellists randomly selected from the various Departments of the Eastern Technical University of Sierra Leone indicated that the colour (75%), taste (87.5%), aroma (80%) and texture (60%) were general acceptable and good.
