The implementation of a conventional PID controller on the motor under dynamic load condition produces quite long steady-state response and poor performance. An improvement is proposed by combining the PID control method with fuzzy logic theory. This research was conducted through the simulation of the BLDC motor drive system implementing fuzzy-PID controller. Using the transfer function of the motor, the controller design process was performed by exploiting the $mathrm{I}^{mathrm{st}}$ Ziegler-Nichols method. Some scenarios have been simulated by changing the speed and torque parameters. The evolution of the related values until nominal condition has been observed. The values of settling-time Ts, maximum overshoot Mp, output torque, current, back EMF, and output power were recorded. A comparison has been made to the use of conventional PID controller. The results show that the fuzzy-PID method excels the conventional method in terms of recovery time.","PeriodicalId":354646,"journal":{"name":"2022 International Seminar on Intelligent Technology and Its Applications (ISITIA)","volume":"50 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-07-20","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"132325914","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Amputations are usually performed to treat a condition or disease. Lower limb amputations account for 85-90% of all amputations, and transtibial amputations are the most common type of amputation surgery. To live a normal life, transtibial amputees choose to use assistive devices such as crutches or passive prostheses. The use of passive equipment is still limited due to the user’s functional requirements which need to be made as close to natural as possible. Motivated by the above points, an active Ankle Prosthesis for transtibial amputation patients using EEG signals has been designed. The 2-channel C3 and C4 EEG signals are recorded using a self-designed EEG Instrumentation. Ankle prosthesis modified based on an open-source 3D design adapted to the subject of anthropometry. The 3D design is printed with a 3D printer made from PLA. The resulting Ankle Prosthesis has a total mass of 635 grams, an extension length of 19 cm, and a footing dimension of the prosthesis ($25 times 10$) cm. The Ankle Prosthesis can move at an angle of 150 for Dorsiflexion and 650 for Plantar flexion. EEG signal features in the form of Event Related Synchronization (ERS) and Event Related Desynchronization (ERD) are extracted from EEG signals in real-time during Motor Execution and Motor Imagery tasking. In the experimental test with 2 normal subjects, the highest success was 33.33% in motor execution mode for subject 1 and 38.89% in motor imagery mode for subject 2. This shows that subject2 can command the Ankle Prosthesis better than subject 1. From the success data, the most detections during motor execution were obtained by subject 1 for left-hand movements with an average ERD/ERS value of −56.9727± 42.4894% on channel C4. As for the motor imagery, the most detection was obtained by subject 2 for right-hand movement with an average value of ERD/ERS point C3 of −55.7915± 25.75024%.","PeriodicalId":354646,"journal":{"name":"2022 International Seminar on Intelligent Technology and Its Applications (ISITIA)","volume":"119 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-07-20","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"123249979","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This causes the current sharing accuracy of each converter to decrease. A control response will cause DC voltage deviation. DC microgrids with multiple parallel-connected sources require well-established controls to maintain efficient system performance and prevent overloads. This study presents a droop control based on the Aquila optimization algorithm The AO duplicates the existence of Aquila birds in the realm while hunting prey. The performance of AO is comparing the transient response with conventional methods and particle swarm optimization. This study uses the case of load sharing and load changes for testing. Matlab software is used for simulation testing. From the simulation results, it was found that the AO method has the best ability. The AO is competent to alleviate the settling time by 0.7% compared to the conventional method and has better final power than the conventional method by 0.798%.","PeriodicalId":354646,"journal":{"name":"2022 International Seminar on Intelligent Technology and Its Applications (ISITIA)","volume":"16 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-07-20","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"124953361","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Writing related work tasks could be arduous for young researchers and scholars. Some studies have attempted to design systems to ease this work besides improving the quality of related work produced. Initially, the research focused on extractive approaches by exploiting the heuristic method, machine learning, or graph-based methods. Recently, deep learning and its variants have become more popular because they can handle abstractive approaches. We propose five research questions that direct discussion and analysis of research in related work summarization. We look for answers to this research question in scientific articles on ScienceDirect, Web of Science, or the Google Scholar Database. This research presents a widespread survey about the trends in related work tasks: related work structure, important aspects, scientific corpora standards, prior proposed methods, baseline systems comparison, evaluation metrics, and challenges in the future. The results of this study provide an overview of research trends in related work summarization, as well as describe research gaps and future research that can still be developed.","PeriodicalId":354646,"journal":{"name":"2022 International Seminar on Intelligent Technology and Its Applications (ISITIA)","volume":"33 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-07-20","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"124980340","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

One of the most common heart rhythm disorders is Premature Ventricular Contraction (PVC). PVC is an abnormal extra pulse. This beat is called premature because it occurs prematurely from the ventricles of the heart. PVCs often cause no symptoms, but palpitations or a missing heartbeat are the most common. The ancillary test used to diagnose PVC is electrocardiogram. Patients suffering from PVC are usually late for ECG monitoring at the hospital, so a portable system with embedded algorithms is needed for cardiac diagnosis. This paper proposes an approach to detect the risk of early sudden cardiac death in patients with PVCs. This study took the signal data with ECG Click module in real-time, then processed using Discrete Wavelet Transform (DWT) to obtain the PVC morphology. The data was sent via USB UART click and displayed on the TFT LCD screen of the microcontroller. The results of this study, a system can detect PVC signals automatically. This study also conducted testing using Physionet data. The PVC signal in the AHADB 0201 database was detected in sequence of 791, while in the AHADB 0201 database was detected in sequence of 6725. This result can help clinicians detect early symptoms of sudden cardiac death at the clinical level.","PeriodicalId":354646,"journal":{"name":"2022 International Seminar on Intelligent Technology and Its Applications (ISITIA)","volume":"109 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-07-20","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"133556181","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

To show the feasibility of the approach, we generate a set of artificial training data describing a configuration of two planar spiral coils in varying dimensions and positions to each other in order to calculate their self- and mutual inductance. Afterwards, the data is used to train and evaluate three different machine learning models. Our evaluation shows that multiple linear regression with polynomial features reaches almost the same precision as the reference FASTHENRY2, but is orders of magnitude faster. With this novel machine learning based algorithm we enable new applications, where real-time prediction of inductances or coupling factors is advantageous.","PeriodicalId":354646,"journal":{"name":"2022 International Seminar on Intelligent Technology and Its Applications (ISITIA)","volume":"45 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-07-20","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"116900625","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
