However, it is problematic and complicated to provide interconnectivity and reachability between inter-domain SDNs. Thus, this paper proposes a scheme for the inter-SDN federation and communication based on the abstracted network information exchange and automated peer network configuration for the integrated network services. The proposed scheme is implemented and verified over the de-facto wide-area SDN infrastructure (KREONET-S) which is deployed on Korea Research Environment Open Network (KREONET), a representative national research network in Korea. The proposed method is implemented and experimented based on the distributed and layer-2 oriented network architecture by using the abstracted message exchanges between local SDN controllers in order to provide low message overheads and high federation scalability. Our research work contributes to more efficient inter-SDN communications by means of the data modeling abstraction of the local SDN network information and the simplified interactions between individual controllers by the automated configurations through the specific application interfaces. The proposed scheme also contributes to the development of the integrated service platforms which are demanded to provide IoT, Big Data, AI, and cloud services in the tightly coupled manner over the inter-SDN domains.","PeriodicalId":35441,"journal":{"name":"Webology","volume":" ","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-01-20","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"47610420","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Although widely used in diagnostic centres, radiation-based diagnostic techniques have drawbacks when it comes to disease newness. As a result, deep learning models are commonly used for X-ray interpretation by medical and computational researchers. Deep learning models can identify COVID-19, a critical task for treatment options based on diagnostic data these days. On the other hand, advances in artificial intelligence, machine learning, deep learning, and medical imaging methods enable outstanding performance, especially in detection, classification, and segmentation issues. These advances have allowed clinicians to more accurately monitor the human body, improving diagnosis and non-surgical patient examination. There are a variety of imaging methods that can be used to identify COVID-19, but we choose to use computerized tomography (CT) because it is the most commonly used. In addition, to detect COVID-19, we use a deep learning model based on a Convolutional Neural Network (CNN). Two samples of the tested data were used, where one of these data was collected from Al-Karkh Hospital in Baghdad, which consisted of 40 people, samples were taken according to their critical condition. The system was trained and tested on the basis of this dataset, where we used CNN three times, once to extract the feature and twice for the classification process. The results showed that the accuracy of the system reaches 100% because this system depends on the Bayes rule and it is not possible error.","PeriodicalId":35441,"journal":{"name":"Webology","volume":" ","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-01-20","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"48107295","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

An ever-increasing number of outlets is emerging, causing purchasers' preferences and buying habits to shift. Customers can shop across channels from any place using an omnichannel method, which enables real-time collaboration and provides customers with an engaging, complete, and consistent purchase experience that bridges the lying channel gap in between. The objective of the study is to figure out what influences omnichannel purchasers' behavior by recognizing and aiming to use technological advancements within the purchasing cycle. To that end, a new framework was conceptualized based on factors, Social Influence, Habits Influence, Hedonic Motivation, Personal innovativeness and perceived security. The impact of these factors on the purchase intentions of customers in the omnichannel retail was analyzed using the data of sample size 314. The results of the study confirm positive influence of all factors mentioned in the framework on customers purchase intention in omnichannel retail. The study concludes with important implication for both scholarly field and practitioners beside mentioning its limitations.","PeriodicalId":35441,"journal":{"name":"Webology","volume":" ","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-01-20","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"46878960","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The better these processes are performed, the lesser are the chances of accidents occurring. The purpose of this study is to propose the use of binaural beats (BBs) to shorten the reaction time (RT) (cognition, judgment, and action) while driving. The hypotheses of this study are as follows. First, the higher the appearance of β-waves during concentration and awakening, the shorter is the RT. Second, β-waves can be increased using BBs. To test these hypotheses, physiological responses were observed during driving without BBs and driving with BBs. The electroencephalogram of six female drivers was measured using a graphic driving simulator, and frequency and spectrum analyses were conducted. The results showed that the β-power was more predominant and the RT score was higher when driving with BBs (6 and 18 Hz) than when driving without BBs. Therefore, the use of BBs can be effective in avoiding traffic accidents by reducing the RT (cognition, judgment, and response) while driving.","PeriodicalId":35441,"journal":{"name":"Webology","volume":" ","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-01-20","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"48800930","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The MQTT protocol was extended to handle UNSUBSCRIBE and SUBSCRIBE processing with a single step and the LBS server was revised to handle the extended protocol. Instead of directly processing SUBSCRIBE and UNSUBSCRIBE, mobile clients need to send their GPS location to the LBS server. LBS Server communicate with MQTT Broker to using extended protocol on behalf of each client. In an environment where large number of clients frequently move, the extended MQTT protocol can drastically reduce the number of messages between MQTT Broker and clients. This is mainly because clients do not need to issue SUBSCRIBE and UNSUBSCRIBE request to MQTT Broker. In addition, in contrast to our previous study where clients receive new administrative area name after sending its GPS location to LBS server, in this research, using extended MQTT protocol, mobile clients do not need to receive new administrative name even though they move across different district areas and as a result, the number of message exchanges can also be reduced. The LBS system applying the extended MQTT protocol can be used as a real-time location-based information service for large-scale mobile devices, such as real-time pedestrian population and vehicle traffic analysis, and location-based message delivery.","PeriodicalId":35441,"journal":{"name":"Webology","volume":" ","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-01-20","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"48820261","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Heart Rate (HR) measurement is one of the important health conditions that measure heart beat rates. HR measurement can be performed using Photoplethysmogram (PPG) or Electrocardiogram (ECG) signals. Since the PPG or ECG signals are different from people to people, conventional HR estimator occasionally results in large errors. To develop a reliable HR estimator, an HR estimation technique using PPG is proposed in this paper, based on a deep learning technique. The proposed HR estimation technique has the following key features. We develop a new artificial neural network which is 1-Dimensional Convolutional Neural Network (1D-CNN) composed of ten convolutional layers and two fully connected layers. To assess the estimation performance, cross validation is used. The training and verification of the proposed 1D-CNN technique are performed on Python 3.7.5 with Keras 2.0 library. The proposed HR estimation technique performs training and verification using field PPG data. Overfitting is prevented by increasing the limited training data by data augmentation. In training, the loss function is the Mean Square Error (MSE), which is commonly used in regression problems. In the verification, the error between the predicted HR and the actual HR is compared using Mean Absolute Error (MAE). As a result of the final performance verification through cross validation, the proposed technique shows an MAE of 1.23 Beats Per Minute (BPM). This results indicate that the proposed technique enables quick and accurate HR estimation with only PPG signals. Therefore, if this technique is applied to medical and wearable devices, the proposed technique can replace the existing HR monitors.","PeriodicalId":35441,"journal":{"name":"Webology","volume":" ","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-01-20","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"48441460","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
