China Abstract: To evaluate the reliability of obtaining rock mechanics parameters and calculating the rock brittleness index using small core samples, the nanoindentation technology is applied to obtain mechanical parameters with the small-scale core samples or cuttings of 1 mm × 1 mm. Before nanoindentation testing, the mineral phase analysis is carried out. The scale is upgraded by the convolution method to obtain the micromechanical parameters. Compared with the mechanical experimental results of nanoindentation, the absolute error is less than 10%, which meets the needs of brittleness index calculation. The proposed method can obtain rock mechanical parameters using broken core samples or cuttings, providing a new technical method for obtaining experimental parameters for brittleness evaluation.","PeriodicalId":35396,"journal":{"name":"Shenzhen Daxue Xuebao (Ligong Ban)/Journal of Shenzhen University Science and Engineering","volume":null,"pages":null},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-09-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"135348006","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

China A bstract: In order to study the application of visualization technology in shear tests of soil and the deformation mechanism of shear band, shearing tests on different kinds of soil are carried out by using the visualization shear equipment. Combining with digital image deformation measurement technology, the displacement images of soil specimens are obtained in shear processes. The deformation characteristics of sand, clay and gravel samples in shearing tests are studied. The results show that the shear bands of sand samples are the \"fish-shaped\" areas between the upper and lower shear surfaces when shearing failure occurs. The thicknesses of shear bands increase at first then decrease with the increasing shear displacement. The clay specimens are mainly destroyed along the horizontal planes between the upper and the lower shear boxes. And there is no obvious secondary shear surface. The shear bands of gravel samples are mainly concentrated in the \"arched\" areas between the primary and secondary shear surfaces in upper shearing boxes. The stresses on \"arched\" secondary shear surfaces are greater than that on horizontal primary shear surfaces, and the strength indexes are basically consistent. This research can provide scientific methodology for developing mechanism of shear zone of soil and the establishment of constitutive models.","PeriodicalId":35396,"journal":{"name":"Shenzhen Daxue Xuebao (Ligong Ban)/Journal of Shenzhen University Science and Engineering","volume":null,"pages":null},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-07-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"135807016","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In order to enhance the environmental tolerance of horseradish peroxidase (HRP) and be used for phenol degradation, the modified horseradish peroxidase (HRP) was gelatinized and embedded in gel and acryloylated through the amino or carboxyl groups on the surface of HRP, and two encapsulated enzymes (n-HRP@PAM, c-HRP@PAM) were prepared by in situ free radical polymerization reaction with acrylamide (AAm). Mass spectrometry revealed that up to nine double bonds could be grafted on the carboxyl groups of HRP, and more than the number of double bonds grafted on its amino groups. Dynamic laser scattering showed that the two encapsulated enzymes were uniformly dispersed in aqueous solution. China Abstract: To study the mechanism of ground penetrating radar (GPR) on the detection of reinforcement corrosion, this paper employs GPR to periodically monitor the accelerated reinforcement corrosion process and designs various experimental setups to separate the effects of different corrosion patterns on GPR signals, including corrosioninduced cracks width and corrosion product diffusion. Results indicate that the reflected wave amplitude increases with accelerated corrosion before the appearance of corrosion-induced cracks. The reflected wave amplitude decreases with the widening of corrosion-induced cracks after their appearance. The reflected wave amplitude increases with the increase in the filling amount of corrosion product in vertical cracks. This study provides valuable insights into the relationship between GPR signals and reinforcement corrosion.","PeriodicalId":35396,"journal":{"name":"Shenzhen Daxue Xuebao (Ligong Ban)/Journal of Shenzhen University Science and Engineering","volume":null,"pages":null},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-07-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"135807023","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

China Abstract: In order to study the effects of interfacial changes on the mechanical properties of concrete beams under dynamic loading, the dynamic responses of the beams under different interface strengths have been simulated in this paper, by using a finite element program RFPA3D-Dynamic. With considerations of material non-uniformity, the crack development and damage patterns of the beams, and the peak load curves and accumulated acoustic emission curves have been analyzed. The results show that the crack expansion patterns at different interface strengths vary significantly, and when the interface strength is small, the specimens mainly undergo bending tensile damage. Furthermore, as the interface strength increases, the damage pattern gradually changes to shear damage dominated by oblique cracks. The peak load of the specimen increases gradually with the increase of the interface strength, and tends to level off when it approaches the concrete strength. The accumulative acoustic emission energy shows a law of increasing first and then decreasing with the increase of the interface strength.","PeriodicalId":35396,"journal":{"name":"Shenzhen Daxue Xuebao (Ligong Ban)/Journal of Shenzhen University Science and Engineering","volume":null,"pages":null},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-07-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"135807015","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
