The paper describes a mathematical model for autonomous underwater vehicle (AUV) hydroacoustic modem. The prototype hydroacoustic modem is based on the mathematical model and tested in a swimming pool. We first show that unlike the general composition of timed automata, the composition of timed FSMs can be derived without uniting time variables of components and still can be described by an FSM that has a single time variable. We then discuss how tests with the guaranteed fault coverage can be derived for such composition. It is found that the vibration resonance frequency of the capacitor movable electrode is decreased with increasing the side subetching angle, whereas the vibration amplitude is increased with increasing this angle. To reduce overall dimensions of an electric machine and increase its efficiency, the stator winding is coiled with tooth pitch and excitation flux is performed by the annular magnet. To increase the torque, the winding is implemented as separated phase zones, rotor slots and stator elementary slots are filled with solid insulator and the air gap is filled with magnetic liquid. The electromechanical model of the inductor motor was designed in the basis of modified discrete Rademakher functions, methods of equivalent conductance and symmetrical components. The results of the study are the system of equations that describes self-inductance and mutual inductance parameters, electrical equilibrium and torque equations. The analysis of the torque equations shows, that a motor of the axial type has the same torque as a radial excitation motor or a reluctance motor. According to proposed method in parallel with network phases a static semiconductor converter is connected. In the ground fault mode the converter must generate the current of zero sequence in opposition with capacitive short circuit current. In this paper the electromagnetic processes taking place in the network in a short circuit mode are considered, and also the possibility of ground fault capacitive current compensation in the short circuit mode by static converter is shown.
