Beyond these it fulfils top priority tasks during inland disaster- and other crisis situations as well. To meet these tasks with success one of the basic criteria is the complex and solid command and control capability, with a support secured by a system of advanced info-communication tools. The goal is to generate a velocity profile for robotic manipulators taking into account kinematic and dynamic constraints. In some cases, profile generation can be translated to a convex optimisation problem through a non-linear change of variables. However, some constraints cannot be taken into account due they non-convex properties. The paper presents a method to solve the time-optimal problem with these non-convex constraints. The method is based on the branch and bound algorithm, and it provides a global solution in contrast to the existing local approaches. For this reason, it is necessary to produce nanostructures with given parameters. The soft-computing design of the self-organized nanostructures and a new classification model will be discussed in this paper. These nanostructures are formed by droplet epitaxy on compound semiconductor substrate. The parameters of the nanostructures (type, size, distribution) depend on the applied technology. The key factors of the technology (substrate temperature, Ga flux, As pressure, annealing time and annealing temperature) will be determined as design parameters. These parameters are set in order to produce nanostructures with the desired property. The most accurate segmentation is performed manually, but the process of creating manual alignments is costly and time-consuming, so automatic procedures are preferable. In this paper, a simple alignment method based on models trained during hidden Markov Model (HMM) based TTS system training is presented. It is shown that this approach slightly outperforms standard alignment procedures based on monophone models. There is a high percentage of people with the university degree but considerably smaller percentage of those who are competent for solving actual problems that business world faces. This fact has been recognized as one of the drawbacks of Bologna process, more precisely of its traditional methods of teaching and learning, and was the main motivator for developing a new model of learning in this paper. It is a Competency-Based Education (CBE) model that aims to develop more competent students prepared for the labor market. It basically relies on the shortcomings of the traditional teaching model and introduces new elements to improve the entire teaching process, keeping those who have had positive outcomes in practice.
