As we all know that before planting a tree, we should give a strong base like giving nutrition for proper growth and development of plants, so that it would be able to give us the result we are expecting from it. But in Pakistan the backdrop is, that our teachers themselves are aware of the real factors of guidance, but don’t have availability to give professional guidance due to lack of resources and don’t have this subject as curriculum so that they can guide the students. Therefore, students can’t be properly and fully guided by their institutor. This research found that that teachers have knowledge related to professional guidance, it gives positive effect to the students and can bring improvement in their lives and students are mentally able to understand principles of professional guidance. Teachers counsel students individually but can’t be able to conduct class related to professional guidance. Ultimately it was found that teachers need more education for professional guidance before guiding the students. To improve the quality of education, World Bank and other donor agencies introduced the need of community involvement in school management system in achieving the right to education. Thus, multiple reform programs initiated based on community involvement known as school-Based Management (SBM) or School Management Committee (SMC). Given this, to improve the quality education, many countries initiated multiple reform programs and indicated the need of community involvement through community-school partnership. Therefore, in Pakistan, like other provinces, Sindh has also formed School Management Committee (SMC). This study is an attempt to evaluate the impact of community involvement i.e. SMC on quality of education in Sindh province, Pakistan. For the analysis, the study has used Sindh Education Management Information System (SEMIS) database for the year 2013-14. To evaluate the impact of SMC intervention, the study has constructed different measures of quality education such as school environment index, teacher’s resource index, promotion rate, repetition rate, and dropout rate. Further, the study has also assessed the quality of matching based on different measures of matching quality. Since the study has selected those schools of Sindh in which SMC is functional. Hence, to control the problem of self-selection bias, the study has used a semi-parametric propensity score matching technique (PSM). The overall findings of the study provide useful insights and reveals that the establishment of SMC has positive and significant impact on access to school and quality of school measures except the one i.e. student’s dropout rate. The study at hand was conducted in two provinces of Pakistan to review the assessment practices within new four years teacher education programs offered between 2010 -2018 in two provinces –Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Teachers, students, and heads of the institutions were included in the sample of study. Mixed method research design was opted to explore the practices and difference among institutional practices. The findings of the study revealed that Teacher Education Institutions in Punjab practiced more of the modern assessment techniques and yielded better results than Teacher Education Institutions in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. It was further revealed that Teacher Education Institutions in Private sector practiced formative assessment better than Teacher Education Institutions in the Public sector, while the institutions in public sector were focused more on summative assessment technique. In this study researcher used a framework for evaluating this phenomenon which combines the four dimensions of Protest and Social Change, Community Life, Representative Democracy and Democratic Values. The framework which researcher uses also used in The European Social Survey 2002 to populate the framework as this survey provided the best data coverage available and covered 19 European Countries. In this research total 61 indicators were selected. A composite indicator, The Active Citizenship Composite Indicator (ACCI), The limitations to the ACCI are explained in terms of the limitation of the data availability in particular concerning the new forms of participation and less organized forms of participation. For measuring the active citizenship in young generation 100 questionnaires were prepared for university students (bachelors level student and for master level). Survey results are given in the body below under the heading of results. Most of the results are as expected and matching with many international surveys conducted outside Pakistan but few results are really very unexpected and shocking. The results of Active Citizenship Composite Indicator exhibit interesting and quite distinct regional patterns. Marital rape is simply the sexual act without the implied or expressed consent of spouse. This paper addresses the element of marital rape in two local communities - Lyari and Clifton, in the city of Karachi, Pakistan. The topic is not new but the acceptability is; mostly people avoid discussing such taboos in the public, for them rape doesn’t exist in the marital life. To find out the true picture, we have conducted a qualitative survey the methodology that we are following is qualitative survey of general public married spouses from two areas and the public servants those deal with this phenomenon in their capacities including the lawyers, religious scholars, and non-profit organizers. Our sample size is 200 concerned individuals and is equally divided in two areas. We opted a random sampling method based on qualitative research to reach the target audience in both the localities with an assumption to find the real deal. Our research is based on the volunteering response of the people regarding the concerned query, not to trigger or force people to share their respective experience/s. Instruments of research are questioners filled in by spouses from both areas. Hypothesis were tested using the method of Z-Testing.
