The problems of detoriated soil, poor and shortage of water conditions affecting the grape production on own rooted vines, which results into use of rootstock in grape cultivation. There are large number of rootstocks available in grape cultivation according to different production constraints. Rootstock not only helps in withstanding vineyard in adverse climatic conditions but also help in improving yield and quality of. The rootstock Dogridge became popular among the grape growers due to its capabilities of overcoming abiotic stresses and better stionic combination. The rootstock suitable for one variety in a given location may not be suitable for the same variety on other location. Hence, choice of rootstock is varied among the different cultivars. Benhissen","doi":"10.48165/chr.2023.11.2.16","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.48165/chr.2023.11.2.16","url":null,"abstract":"The ornamental flora of green spaces of the University of M’sila (Pole 2) includes 32 ornamental plants (tree, shrub and herbaceous), belonging to 22 botanical families and 29 genera. The green contains 89 wild plants belonging to 29 families which find refuge at the edge and in these green spaces; of which the Asteraceae family is most abundant, in second place comes the Fabaceae and Poaceae families, then the Brassicaeae with and Euphorbiaceae on the other hand the Geraniaceae, the Plantaginaceae, the Polygonaceae are weakly represented. The chorological types of wild species show the dominance of the elements of the Mediterranean group over all other groups.
