The routing strategy usually struck with the issue of shortest path routing (SPR). A number of routing models is already in progress but, still the challenges rise with some real-world applications. This routing strategy impresses to focus on solving these issues by considering delay, energy and total fitness. This paper introduces a new routing algorithm for solving the issues faced in route establishment and route recovery as well. This paper also uses neural network (NN) model to predict the node movements in adhoc network. More importantly, the major optimal route selection problem is solved here by introducing a new hybrid algorithm. The proposed model, probability-based dragonfly (DA) with artificial bee colony (ABC) update (PDAU) compares its performance over other conventional methods in terms of delay, energy and total fitness.","PeriodicalId":35022,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Mobile Network Design and Innovation","volume":"45 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"72617069","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Consequently, OFDMA resource allocation raises as one of the key research topics since the capacity and quality of service depend on optimising the usage of the available resources. Resource allocation of OFDMA systems relies on power and subcarrier allocations of each user for different operational scenarios and channel conditions. In this paper, we propose and implement bat pack algorithm (BPA) to find the optimal, or near optimal, power and subcarrier allocations for OFDMA systems. The proposed algorithm considers power and subcarrier allocation constrains, channel and noise distributions, distance between user equipment and base station, user priority weight. Four cases are addressed, simulated, and analysed employing the BPA algorithm under specific operational scenarios to meet the standard specifications of current communication systems.","PeriodicalId":35022,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Mobile Network Design and Innovation","volume":"42 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-03-07","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"90549479","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

UWSNs consist of high density sensor nodes deployed underwater to perform collaborative monitoring and resource exploration tasks over given area. The nodes in network are participates a specific task like sensing and forwarding the information to other nodes using routing protocols. Energy efficiency becomes the basic need of UWSNs in very deep water level condition and the main aim is to operate sensor with smaller battery for a longer time. In this paper, we propose an energy efficient routing protocol for UWSNs using two phase process (EERP-TP). Firstly, the balanced collective region is formed by conditional Sierpinski triangle algorithm using the node constraints, which improves the effectiveness of data gathering. Secondly, the candidate set selection is performed by chaotic multi-criteria decision (CMD) model, which computes best data forwarding node to deliver data to the destination within the required time. The simulation results show that the proposed EERP-TP method can perform very efficient than existing routing in terms of network lifetime, throughput, packet relayed rate, data loss, and energy consumption.","PeriodicalId":35022,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Mobile Network Design and Innovation","volume":"29 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-03-07","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"88953811","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Due to the self sustaining nature of MANET, it has been used in various applications and provides good communication. However, because of certain features of MANET such as wireless medium, highly dynamic topology, limited resources, etc., the network is easily prone to various attacks which hamper the communication efficiency. The nodes are attacked mainly during the routing process and the data packets are dropped or its authenticity is compromised mostly during the data transmission process. Hence, it is critical to ensure that routing and data transmission process is performed in a secure manner to ensure security of the network. In this paper, we propose to develop a cross-layered-based adaptive secured routing and data transmission technique in MANET. Initially, the multipath routing is performed securely by encrypting every message transmission, to guarantee routing security. Then the highly secured data is transmitted through secure routes to ensure data security. Then the network is examined for intrusions. In this way, network is safeguarded from attacks and hence enhancing network operations.","PeriodicalId":35022,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Mobile Network Design and Innovation","volume":"42 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-03-07","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"86523019","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Particularly, we propose solutions for spectrum scarcity based on the three CR paradigms, namely: interweave CR, underlay CR, and overlay CR. In the first solution, an interweave CR system is suggested to efficiently utilise the so-called TV white spaces in the UHF TV band allocated for Palestine. In the second solution, an underlay CR system based on code division multiple access (CDMA) is introduced to underlay the primary GSM system. In the third solution, an overlay CR system is proposed based on orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) to share the same spectrum band with the primary GSM system. It is confirmed that the proposed solutions can solve the spectrum scarcity and limit the interference levels, and consequently improve system capacity.","PeriodicalId":35022,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Mobile Network Design and Innovation","volume":"45 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-03-07","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"86250584","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In this paper a method based on the user cooperation by means of the game theory for optimal channel allocation in heterogeneous wireless networks, is presented. In the proposed approach, using the Stackelberg game, operators play the role of leaders while users are considered as followers. Then, the cooperation of the users for receiving different services according to their need in unlicensed spectrum is investigated. Improvement of some performance measures such as increase in channel gain and transmission power and decrease in interference to Wi-Fi users shows that this approach can enhance the efficiency of both operators and users with respect to the number of users and Wi-Fi access points. Comparing with other cooperation methods, the effectiveness of the proposed method in the efficiency of operators and users is demonstrated.","PeriodicalId":35022,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Mobile Network Design and Innovation","volume":"49 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"77194740","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The basic idea, supporting the cost efficiency, is the statistical multiplexing gain. Such a gain can be achieved when reusing the same processing power, realising BBU functions, for different, spatially distributed cells. Cells served by a single BBU pool need to be close to each other to support the mobility (handovers) and improve coordination. This article proposes the clustering algorithm, based on the minimum spanning tree (MSP). The algorithm allocates the geographically distributed sites onto a predefined set of BBU pools, keeping the clusters compact while achieving high multiplexing gain. We created, using the described algorithm, the BBU pools based on data traffic statistics from commercial network. We compared the multiplexing gain achieved with the maximum multiplexing gain achievable having given the daily profiles of analysed sites.","PeriodicalId":35022,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Mobile Network Design and Innovation","volume":"135 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"74704553","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Quantum of researches has focused on designing various approaches to teach deaf and mute students. However, assessing whether students are following the course materials by creating an active learning environment is very difficult in this context. Integrating IoT technologies into their classroom can add an immense value in this area by providing interactive low-cost solution which can solve the purpose and also improve the quality and efficiency of the education system thereby making education more appealing than ever before. This paper presents the review and case study of various existing solutions and design and development of one such system using low cost hardware and MQTT lightweight protocol for efficient device to device communication to encourage active learning environment in the classroom without much modifications in the existing academic infrastructure.","PeriodicalId":35022,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Mobile Network Design and Innovation","volume":"11 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"73983948","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
