One of the reasons with a significant impact was the development of the Internet which resulted in easier obtaining of information about tourist destinations and their offer, especially through use of websites created primarily for the presentation and promotion of tourist offer. Contemporary tourists prefer to travel “virtually”, respectively search for details about a destination online before making a decision about visiting it. In order to achieve maximum success in turning potential tourists into visitors, tourist websites need to be created as an ideal combination of images and texts which will reveal the destinatioń s particularities and stimulate a positive decision in the decision-making process. In order to determine its success, the website needs to be evaluated through determining website user ś attitudes towards its contents. The purpose of this paper is to determine the website user ś level of satisfaction post-browsing the website contents on the example of the official website of the Tourist Board of Zagreb, and whether website users would be willing to recommend it to others in search for information about the destination. The following scientific methods will be used: inductive and deductive method, method of analysis and synthesis, statistical methods (descriptive statistical analysis, correlation, Kruskall-Wallis Test and Mann-Whitney U Test). It is expected that the results of the empirical research will determine all the websité s advantages, as well as the potential weaknesses, all of them aimed at its improvement, which will have a positive influence on better presentation of tourist offer, attracting higher number of tourists, which will finally result in achieving competitiveness on the tourist market.","PeriodicalId":34846,"journal":{"name":"Turizam","volume":null,"pages":null},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"71150207","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Generally speaking, entrepreneurs should have basic skills like business management (developing of mission, vision, setting goals, sharing values and motivating people) and human resource management skills. Simply, realizing all human resource management related functions, starting from recruitment of the right person to evaluating personal performance. Despite the fact that universities or academia in general, potentially have huge power in orienting graduates to be entrepreneurs, minimal research results can be found in the related written literature. Still in entrepreneurship education and career development, very little information exists, especially regarding motivation levels, behaviors or characteristics of students or graduates. Thusly, in this study, the general entrepreneurial aspects of university students were investigated by using innovativeness, determination, desire for achievement, ingenuity, independence and self-confidence entrepreneurial dimensions. The sample consisted of totally 1512 university students from 8 different universities in Turkey.","PeriodicalId":34846,"journal":{"name":"Turizam","volume":null,"pages":null},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"71150230","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The study was conducted in July of 2019 in the districts of Lara, Konyaaltı, Kundu, Serik, Kemer and Kepez in Antalya city of Turkey According to ANOVA and t test results, it was concluded that only education caused a significant difference in the participants’ interest in the International Antalya Film Festival. In addition to this, it is concluded that the participants have issues of trust related to the organizing committee and the government and the fairness and transparency of the management processes. Apart from the answers given to the measurement tool, several participants verbally stated that the locals were not adequately informed about the festival and they could not easily participate in the film festival. The results could be valuable for tourism sector pro-fessionals and decision-makers.","PeriodicalId":34846,"journal":{"name":"Turizam","volume":null,"pages":null},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"71150588","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Caves in the Zlatibor county, as representative speleological geosites, are one of the first established tourist caves in Serbia. They have great potential for speleotourism and geotourism development in the region and are considered important for tourism development of Zlatibor mountain. In this paper we analyze the speleological potential for geotourism development in Zlatibor county (west Serbia). The main goal of the paper was to determine the current state of speleotourism in Zlatibor county and possibilities for further development by analyzing two caves in this area: Stopića cave and Potpećka cave. Our research was carried out by applying the Modified Geosite Assessment Model (M-GAM). The results show that these caves are not just favourable geosites with great complementary tourism potential of the Zlatibor mountain, but they are also unique speleological objects with vast speleotourism and geotourism development opportunities.","PeriodicalId":34846,"journal":{"name":"Turizam","volume":null,"pages":null},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"71150379","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

With the aim of contributing to knowledge in the field of service research, this paper has employed user-generated content (UGC) within the context of a qualitative research method. Data was obtained from online reviews left by travellers (n=350) on TripAdvisor who visited the Eccleston Square Hotel in London, which generated the unit of data analysis and was processed through content analysis. Findings of the present study have indicated that the innovative service experiences of travellers visiting the Eccleston Square Hotel reflect many heterogeneous and multidimensional features. Results have also revealed that travellers are more disposed towards visiting technologically oriented and equipped hotels that can improve the quality of customer experience while potentially creating a positive impact on their satisfaction levels and intentions to revisit, as well as positive eWOM effects for other travellers.","PeriodicalId":34846,"journal":{"name":"Turizam","volume":null,"pages":null},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"71150136","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The tourist region is a complex spatial unit, composed of a number of elements, such as primary, secondary and tertiary tourist centers, then gateways of tourist flows, intraregional network of roads, as well as directions that make tourist flows to the region of the tourist region. Therefore, the formation of a tourist region model on previous element and ideas must be the basis for the development of tourism in each tourist center, which has predispositions to be primary. The subject of this work is the modeling of the tourist region of Novi Sad, where the spatial coverage of work is limited to the gravitational zone of the city. The task of the paper is to determine the level of the centrality of tourist sites within the Novi Sad tourist region.","PeriodicalId":34846,"journal":{"name":"Turizam","volume":null,"pages":null},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"71150921","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The development of urbanism and the transformation of architectural style in the 15th and 16th centuries laid the foundations of modern cities of the Padua Valley. Construction and architecture were a visible manifestation of the power so the families of Northern Italy, Visconti and Sforza in Milan and Este in Ferrara, become patrons to many Renaissance artists wanting to show their supremacy over other city-states in humanistic manner. This paper first aimed to define relation between renaissance architectural and urban transformation with now days tourism offer of two cities. While today the renaissance core of Milan is only a small segment of modern Mega polis, Ferrara has not experienced significant changes in the spatial organization of urban area. Nevertheless, both cities base their tourist offer on castles, palaces, and other buildings from the renaissance period. This paper is trying to show just how the renaissance in urbanism and architecture had far-reaching effects on the modern tourism of these two centers of humanistic culture. To create clearer insight on the influence of Renaissance heritage we used descriptive and comparative method, showcasing two Northern Italy tourist sites, Milan and Ferrara that have a similar past but different trends in contemporary tourism.","PeriodicalId":34846,"journal":{"name":"Turizam","volume":null,"pages":null},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"71150541","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
