Communication in a competition is needed to avoid mistakes that might occur because communication has information that must be conveyed from one player to another player in a coherent, true, and clear manner. With communication, a team delivers a message that is expected can be done by a teammate, so that a good cooperation occurs within the team. Therefore, this study had the aim to find out the effect of intra-team communication on the success of attacking in rugby sport. The method used was an associative method. The study was conducted at the 2018 Jak10 Series match. The population of this study were the male rugby athletes of Jakarta State University who participated in the 22 rugby National Championship. Organizational stressors have the potential to cause many undesirable consequences for athletes. Organizational stressors have been defined as environmental demands that are related, especially and directly to the organization where an individual operates. In addition, social support is influenced by sports performance, regardless of the stress level. Athletes must be encouraged to be proactive in utilizing social support from people around that is important in overcoming the events experienced by them. The existence of social support can reduce or eliminate the bad consequences of events experienced, such as health and well-being of athletes. Social support can influence sports performance by advising on tactics in matches, game strategies, or by increasing the positive influence and greater influence on athletes both before and during the competition. Therefore, it is very important that psychologists better understand the demands in facing athletes through their exploration and assessment. However, although researchers have identified various organizational stressors in competitive sports and the role of social support in the competitive stress process, coaches and athletes should know how to improve the sport performance in stressful and demanding situations. The purpose of this paper is to present scientific knowledge about the role of social support as a moderator to help athletes cope with the demands and pressures imposed by organizations.","PeriodicalId":348399,"journal":{"name":"Proceedings of the 4th International Conference on Sport Science, Health, and Physical Education (ICSSHPE 2019)","volume":"2017 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-02-19","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"114305509","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The research method used was an experimental method with 2 x 2 factorial design. The research instrument was in the form of Aerobic and Anaerobic Capacity Test. The data analysis techniques used were ANAVA and Tukey Test using SPSS version 23. This study showed that there was an interaction. Men were higher than women in the interval method even though only a few, while women were better than men in the pyramid method. Overall, the analysis results show that the success of the training method depends on the genders being trained. With interaction, we cannot simply conclude that the interval training method is more effective than the pyramid training method, but it depends on the genders being trained. The interval training method appears to be more effective given to men and women compared to the Pyramid training method given to men and women.","PeriodicalId":348399,"journal":{"name":"Proceedings of the 4th International Conference on Sport Science, Health, and Physical Education (ICSSHPE 2019)","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-02-19","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"129087337","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This study examined 10 male football players (age 15.4 years; height 164.9 cm; body mass 59.6 kg), futsal players (age 16.7 years; height 169.1 cm; body mass 58.0 kg). Each group twice runs in 60 meters, every 10 meters there is an officer who records the time. The results show that the average time to travel 60 meters is 2.42 s for football players and 2.36 s for futsal players. Player speed is 7.35 m/s for football and 7.49 m/s for futsal. Acceleration is 0.92 m/s2 for football and 0.94 m/s2 for futsal. The results of the average time, speed and acceleration showed that futsal players are higher than football players. From the data there is a similar trend from a distance of 20 to a distance of 30 which is a decrease and a slowdown in the correlation. Running speed of futsal players is higher than football players, this is because futsal players are used to the characteristics of futsal games that rely on short sprints during matches with relatively smaller fields compared to football.","PeriodicalId":348399,"journal":{"name":"Proceedings of the 4th International Conference on Sport Science, Health, and Physical Education (ICSSHPE 2019)","volume":"39 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"1900-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"116643702","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Interest to games may have meaningful psychological benefits for children. The purpose of this study was to examine the association between short-term psychological effects, especially moods states, and games performance in invasion game activities setting at elementary students. Correlational approach was used to analyse the results of this study. Third grade elementary school students were enrolled in this study. Forty elementary students were assigned to invasion games in 8 minute game, which was divided into two minute halves. The game taught used invasion games was handball, which fields size and rules were modified. Pleasant and unpleasant moods using Brief Mood Introspection Scale (BMIS) were assessed before experimental conditions. BMIS with 8 subscales pleasant mood states (active, calm, caring, content, happy, lively, loving, and peppy) and unpleasant mood states (drowsy, fed up, gloomy, grouchy, jittery, nervous, sad, and tired) are rated on a 4-point Likert scale ranging from 1 (definitely do not feel) to 4 (definitely feel). It was found that pleasant moods states correlated with games performance and games involvement of the student in games activities. This study suggests physical educators to setting motivated climate to increase moods states in order to engage children in physical activities.","PeriodicalId":348399,"journal":{"name":"Proceedings of the 4th International Conference on Sport Science, Health, and Physical Education (ICSSHPE 2019)","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"1900-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"125871940","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
