The authors hypothesized that coping strategy, loneliness, and sleep quality had significant effects on symptoms of depression in students during the Covid-19 pandemic. The population in this study was students who domiciled in Greater Jakarta and were undergoing online lectures during the Covid-19 pandemic. A sample of 203 students were recruited using purposive sampling. The measuring instrument consisted of the Beck Depression Inventory-II scale, The Brief COPE scale, the De Jong Gierveld Loneliness Scale, and The Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index scale. We tested the validity of the instrument using the Confirmatory Factor Analysis (CFA) technique. The data were analyzed using multiple regression techniques. The results of hypothesis testing indicated that four variables, namely problem-focused coping, emotional loneliness, social loneliness, and sleep quality, significantly influenced symptoms of depression. This study's results showed significant effects of coping strategy, loneliness, and sleep quality on depression symptoms in college students during the Covid-19 pandemic, 52.3%. Meanwhile, avoidant, emotionfocused, and socially-supported coping did not significantly affect students' depression symptoms during the Covid-19 pandemic. Here in after, parental stress is a condition where the primary care, in this case, the father or mother, experiences exhaustion in parenting. As of, there are two independent variables (secondary care intensity and parental stress) and a dependent variable (early childhood social-emotional development) with a linear regression technique. The secondary-caregiver intensity was measured based on self-reports from parents who reported the average daily routine regarding the intensity of care levels (whether more frequent primary or secondary care?). Furthermore, parental stress was measured using the parental role quality scale instrument to parents. Then, the measurement of children's social-emotional development is based on instruments from the Ages & Stages Questionnaire: Social-Emotional (ASQ: SE). The sample of this research was all parents of kindergarden X, and it was conducted by purposive sampling method. The use of statistical calculations that have been carried out with the linear regression method. The results showed that there was a significant effect of secondary care intensity and parental stress on children's social-emotional development using the ASQ: SE instrument. With this research, the author hopes that there will be further and in-depth research on social-emotional development with various other variables as well as conducting path analysis techniques in looking for a causal relationship between the intensity of secondary caregiver, parental stress, and social-emotional development of early childhood.","PeriodicalId":34788,"journal":{"name":"Tazkiya","volume":" ","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-04-21","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"49436429","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This is due to differences in the conceptual constructs used by the researchers as the basis for developing such instruments. The use of concepts and instruments that are not based on Islamic religiosity has the potential to distance the measuring instrument from what psychological behavior to be measured, while the measuring instrument based on Islamic religiosity is also not yet fully solid, in line, and be close to each other with Islam. Dissatisfaction with the instruments based on the constructs and instruments of Islamic religiosity that have been compiled has encouraged researchers to develop religious instruments based on Islamic teachings in a precise and solid manner. This instrument is called the Kāffah of Islamic Scale (KIS). The results of the psychometric test and empirical data show that the Kāffah of Islamic Scale (KIS) has a good factor structure through the testing phase of the unidimensional fit model. The Kāffah of Islamic Scale (KIS) measuring instrument consists of five dimensions, namely belief, formal ritual, interpersonal, personal, and morality. There are 33 valid items to measure the Islamic construct of the kāffah composed of five items representing the belief dimension, six items representing the formal dimension of ritual, thirteen items representing interpersonal relationships, twelve items representing the personal dimension, and three items representing the morality dimension. Overall, the results of this research provide preliminary evidence to support the use of the Kāffah of Islamic of Scale (KIS) as a measurement tool that has conceptual and psychometric strengths.","PeriodicalId":34788,"journal":{"name":"Tazkiya","volume":"1 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-04-21","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"48837166","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of social support on selfefficacy in Islamic students. This study used a quantitative approach with a sample of 410 students, with 124 male students and 286 female students. The general self-efficacy scale-12 (GSES-12) developed by Bosscher & Smit (1998) is used by researchers to measure self-efficacy, and the multidimensional scale of perceived social support (MSPSS) created by Zimet et al. (1988) researchers used to measure social support. Test the validity of the construct measurement on each variable was carried out after data collection and before data analysis. In testing the validity of measuring instruments, researchers used confirmatory factor analysis (CFA) (Muthen & Muthen, 2017). Hypothesis testing was carried out using the software SPSS Version 24. The results showed a significance value of .000 (p < .05) thus, there was a significant influence between social support on the self-efficacy of Islamic students in online learning.
