Anemia in adolescent girls is still quite high; the world prevalence of anemia ranges from 40 to 88%. Community service activities aim to screen (check) hemoglobin levels as early detection of anemia using the Point of Care Testing (POCT) method to determine the relationship between age and education to the incidence of anemia and as a preventive effort to minimize anemia. This activity was carried out through counseling about hemoglobin using the lecture method at the Islamic Boarding School Roudlotul Musthofa in May with 23 female students as respondents, which were then analyzed using the Wilcoxon statistical test. The results of the questionnaire before counseling (pre-test) obtained an average of 80, then counseling was carried out, and the average results of the questionnaire (post-test) were 94. The results of the Wilcoxon Test analysis showed p (Asymp.Sig. (2-tailed)) = 0.000 < α (0.05), which means that there is a significant influence between the knowledge of junior high school students of Raudlatul Mustofa Islamic Boarding School Tulungagung Regency and hemoglobin counseling conducted.","PeriodicalId":34657,"journal":{"name":"Journal of Community Service and Empowerment","volume":"36 9","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-11-07","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"135476626","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

To accelerate the Sustainable Development Goals, especially achieving the goal of \"a country with no poverty, no hunger, creating decent jobs and economic growth as well as a healthy and prosperous country,\" MSMEs need to be protected from these problems. This study aims to analyze the prospects for the development of online shopping and its impact on MSMEs and propose improvements to marketplace governance. Method research includes interviews, secondary data studies, literature reviews, and meta-analyses. Research results show that online shopping is a need for future society; the marketplace is increasing in terms of numbers, consumers, and transaction value. The number of MSMEs experiencing collapse has increased due to the inability to compete with marketplace players. It is necessary to improve marketplace governance through regulations to protect MSMEs. Current laws only protect consumers, not yet protect MSMEs. Through marketplace governance, it can empower MSMEs to overcome and prevent poverty and hunger, create decent jobs and economic growth, have a healthy and prosperous life, and accelerate the achievement of the SDGs.","PeriodicalId":34657,"journal":{"name":"Journal of Community Service and Empowerment","volume":"12 4","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-10-27","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"136318261","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In the process of harvesting lime leaves, there are 3 workstations and 4 work activities. Most of the work is done manually with a high workload and repetitive movements, causing musculoskeletal complaints. Workers complain of musculoskeletal disorders while working. During initial observation, there were complaints of pain in the neck, shoulders, arms, waist, thighs, and knees. Based on these problems, this study aims to analyze the factors that cause musculoskeletal disorders in the orange harvesting process. The method used to solve problems with partners is by using an ergonomic checklist and the PATH method to analyze three physical risk factors in the workplace. Based on the results of data processing using the PATH method, it was found that the biggest risk factors for injury were 45.53% soil hoeing, 42.39% harvesting and 12.08% grass cutting. The proposed improvements given after being analyzed using ergonomic checkpoints are: (1) reducing bending or squatting postures; and (2) providing protectors and covers for lawn mowers and handcarts and handles for tools for harvesting oranges. This proposed improvement is in accordance with Sustainable Development Goals number 3, namely Good Health and Wellbeing for all.","PeriodicalId":34657,"journal":{"name":"Journal of Community Service and Empowerment","volume":"15 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-10-20","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"135665587","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Energi listrik salah satunya dihasilkan dari pembangkit listrik tenaga uap (PLTU) yang menghasilkan limbah fly ash-bottom ash (FABA) sebagai dampak dari pembakaran batu bara sebagai limbah. Lokasi PLTU pada umumnya berada pada daerah pesisir pantai dimana dalam kegiatan ini dilakukan di PLTU Lontar. Keberadaan PLTU Lontar pada daerah pesisir menghasilkan limbah cangkang kerang. Kedua jenis limbah berpotensi merugikan lingkungan jika tidak diolah untuk dimanfaatkan. Salah satu pemanfaatan limbah pada bidang pertanian yaitu sebagai subsitusi pada media tanaman. Media tanam merupakan tempat tanaman tumbuh dan menghasilkan produksi sehingga diperlukan komposisi yang tepat dalam pencampuran. Masyarakat Lontar pada umumnya memilih tanaman labu madu sebagai komoditas utama untuk lahan pertanian. Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui komposisi campuran media tanam dengan limbah FABA dan cangkang kerang untuk tanaman labu madu. Kegiatan dilakukan secara laboratorium dan penanaman demo-plot di lapang untuk menguji campuran komposisi media. Sebanyak empat formula campuran media digunakan dalam kegiatan ini yaitu: media tanam (M), media tanam ditambah cangkang kerang (M+CK), media tanam dengan FABA (M+FABA), dan media tanam dengan campuran kedua limbah (M+CK+FABA). Hasil menunjukkan bahwa pencampuran limbah FABA dan Cangkang Kerang dapat dimanfaatkan sebagai subtitusi media tanam pada budidaya labu madu. Disimpulkan bahwa penggunaan media tanam dengan campuran FABA dan cangkang kerang memberikan manfaat untuk nilai efisiensi dan manfaat sosial dengan nilai keseluruhan sebesar Rp98.772.000/tahun dan memiliki dampak lingkungan yakni pengurangan emisi karbon yang dapat dilihat melalui tingginya laju penyerapan CO2 yang terjadi. Berdasarkan perhitungan yang telah dilakukan, 1.200 pohon labu madu/tahun setara dengan penyerapan CO2 sebesar 1.260 kg/tahun.","PeriodicalId":34657,"journal":{"name":"Journal of Community Service and Empowerment","volume":"175 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-10-12","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"136012645","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
