Moreover, the satisfaction level also rises in proportion to the grants they receive. Moreover, artists in performing, visual and popular arts tend to be more content with arts policy than those working in literature. \u0000Second, based on the statistical data of the artists who receive grants from public institutions, no meaningful correlation is discovered between the grants and artistic satisfaction in arts activities. \u0000In comparison, a high level of satisfaction with art activities is manifested by the artists who are given governmental funding from the central or local government bodies or corporate grants such as arts funding from Korea Mecenat Association. \u0000Meanwhile, artists from the metropolitan area, which is deemed to have a well-established infrastructure for artistic support, show negative attitudes towards arts policy. \u0000Such results indicate the potential disparity between artists’ perception of their satisfaction with arts policy and their real satisfaction through individual art activities. Thus, this study proposes that an in-depth analysis of artists be designed more sophisticatedly with multi-layered approaches.

This study analyzes the policy effects of the Daejeon’s cash-back rewards program for local bookstores. By using individual bookstores’s data of credit card payments and local currency payments, we empirically analyze the effects of cash-back rewards on sales growth and redistribution of local bookstores. Main findings can be summarized as follows. First, our ‘Before-and-After’ analysis shows that sales of local bookstores were increased by an average 53% during consumers provided with the cash-back rewards. Second, mitigating effect of cash-back rewards on sales inequality among local bookstores is very small. Specifically, as the ratio of local currency payments to total payments increase by 1%, Gini coefficient of local bookstores’ sales decrease by only 0.0084%.

Recently, media creator’s use of the metaverse platform as contents platform is increasing. However, the metaverse platform is not still creator-centered platform, and the business model is not clear for creators to utilize, so companies are not operating the platform in a form suitable for applying it to the content market. \u0000Accordingly, in this study, a survey of 212 one person media creators in Seoul was conducted on the preferred metaverse platform business model, and based on this, a business model establishment strategy that metaverse platform companies can utilize was suggested. \u0000In order to suggest a strategy for the business model, this study conducted a preference survey on the four business models of the metaverse content platform, which is currently used as a content platform, for media creators, and analyzed the factors influencing their preferences. As a result of the analysis, the preference was in the order of ‘compensation model proportional to the number of channel users’ > ‘profit model using advertisement’ > ‘blockchain-based P2E profit model’ > ‘collaboration model with platform companies’. \u0000Statistically significant factors among preference influencing factors were analyzed by age and metaverse experience. This is interpreted as younger single media creators prefer the existing YouTube business model, and creators with experience using the metaverse are familiar with the blockchain-based P2E profit model. \u0000Based on this results, we suggest the business models for metavers platform companies as ‘grafting the YouTube revenue model to the metaverse revenue model’, ‘making it easy for media creators to use the metaverse platform’, ‘creating a business that can collaborate with older creators’, ‘building an age-appropriate creator revenue model’.

Above all, this method includes both use-value and non-use value. However, if its effect of benefit is limited to a specific area, total calculated benefit could be may be underestimated compared to the method that focuses on the use-value. In addition, various biases may occur in the process of deriving the respondent's intention to pay based on a hypothetical scenario. For these reasons, there is a debate about the appropriate method for calculating the benefit of public performance facilities. In this study, the value of public performance facilities was calculated from the point of view of the use-value ex post, and the benefits that actual visitors gave to public performance facilities were identified. According to the estimation results, while the use-value based on the willingness to pay of respondents was 21,771 won, the value based on travel cost model was 44,878.2 won. Travel cost model is one of the revealed preference approach that indirectly calculate the value through transportation and time costs from the perspective of opportunity cost. As a result of the ex post analysis, it was confirmed that the existing methodologies could underestimate the benefit of public cultural performance facility.
