The researcher used qualitative descriptive research as the method of this study. The research data were collected by using the interview, questionnaires, and document. This research had been done to the first grade students of SMP Negeri 18 Medan, consisting of 33 students that were taken from one class. All the population were taken as the sample of the research. The instrument of the research was questionnaires sheet to analyzing students’ interaction in vocabulary through Total Physical Response (TPR) Method. It was to found the students’ interactions in memorizing vocabulary and most dominant of command and prohibition. Based on questionnaires that, the data got some benefits to TPR method that is to having fun of learning process and increasing the ability of students’ interactions to learning vocabulary with command and prohibition sentence. This research uses descriptive qualitative methods with structural approaches so that it is drawn a thorough and structured analysis. The primary data taken comes from the novel while the secondary data is obtained from a literature study conducted as a reference material to compare the existence of the two viruses, namely the Wuhan-400 virus depicted in the novel and the Corona-19 virus that occurred in the current situation. From the results of the discussion came the conclusion that there are some similarities of the symptoms caused by these two viruses although there are differences in the rate of death caused. In addition, the social situation of the people depicted in the novel also has similarities with the situation when the Covid-19 pandemic broke out. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan dengan model Kemmis dan Mc Taggart. Tahapan-tahapan yang dilakukan meliputi perencanaan, pelaksanaan tindakan, observasi, dan repleksi. Subjek penelitian ini yaitu peserta didik kelas VIII A SMP Negeri 1 Banyuasin III yang berjumlah 30 peserta didik. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan 2 siklus. Setiap siklus dilaksanakan 2 pertemuan. Teknik pengumpulan data adalah tes, observasi, dan dokumentasi.Teknik analisis data yang digunakan teknik analisis deskriptif kualitatif. Berdasarkan analisis data yakni teknik analisis data observasi dan analisis data tes. Analisis data berupa siklus I dan siklus II membuktikan bahwa kemampuan menulis puisi melalui pendekatan kontekstual pada peserta didik SMP Negeri 1 Banyuasin III mengalami peningkatan dari prasiklus, siklus I, dan siklus II. Nilai rata-rata menulis puisi pada prasiklus sebesar 62,5; siklus I sebesar 70; dan siklus II sebesar 83,7. The different visions of male and female writers have a counter power to each other which eventually raises the issue of gender. The fictional nature of literary texts produced by authors is influenced by their cultural circumstances. In current developments, some people still assume that feminism is a movement of women's rebellion against men. Feminism is considered as an attempt by women to rebel against what is called the nature or nature of women against existing social institutions or household institutions, such as marriage and so on. Feminism has an ideology that applies feminism to empower women. Women as God’s creatures have the same dignity as men and want to get fair treatment. This study aims to examine literary works of poetry that carry the flow of feminism by using feminist analysis theory. The method used is a qualitative method. The results showed that in the Matanajwa program on Trans7 television station, there was the use of internal code switching and external code switching. The code mixing that occurs is of the type of mixing the code in (inner code mixing) with the level of words, phrases, and reduplication, as well as mixing the code out (outer code mixing) with the level of words, phrases, reduplication, baster, idiom, and clause. Factors causing code switching are speakers and the presence of a third person. Meanwhile, code mixing is caused by the limited use of code switching, the use of popular terms, speakers, speech partners, subject matter (topics), evokes a sense of humor, and is simply prestigious. Then, what was dominant in this event was code mixing. The functions of code switching and code mixing in this event are quoting, accuracy of meaning, expressing emotions, showing self-identity, showing social status/prestige, argumentative, persuasive, and familiarizing .
