Upon the increasing on the number of stations, the location of additional terminals becomes an iterative role, needing a friendly tool to perform several simulations to establish or rearrange the plan. This is further increased by the need of assigning different variabilities to the desired and undesired terminals. The freeware Radio Mobile program provides a suitable tool for the purpose, but only for equal variabilities. This work analyses this shortcoming and proposes an easy way to properly calculate the interference with unequal variabilities. Finally, a procedure to correct this problem of coverage calculations with unequal variabilities is presented, providing a correction table to speed up the task. A real case of co-channel interference is also analyzed, this real case corresponds to a station D in C° Orocoipo in Rancagua, VI Region and station U located in C° San Cristobal covering the city of Santiago, Metropolitan Region in Chile.","PeriodicalId":340976,"journal":{"name":"2021 IEEE CHILEAN Conference on Electrical, Electronics Engineering, Information and Communication Technologies (CHILECON)","volume":"89 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-12-06","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"122597031","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In particular, using the parameter-dependent Lyapunov function approach (PDLFA), improved results are obtained based on linear matrix inequality (LMI) formulation. Furthermore, the insertion of the free weighting variables (slacks) approach yields filter design conditions with less conservative outcomes. The main target is to reduce conservatism without raising the number of decision variables. Finally, a numerical example is proposed to show the efficacy of the proposed strategy.","PeriodicalId":340976,"journal":{"name":"2021 IEEE CHILEAN Conference on Electrical, Electronics Engineering, Information and Communication Technologies (CHILECON)","volume":"515 ","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-12-06","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"120875525","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Transportation companies have begun to take into account passenger counting, which could optimize the deployment of the vehicle fleet, make a more appropriate budget distribution among the different companies, and improve the service in general. This work aims to provide a low-cost analysis system for bus passenger traffic, geo-referencing the GPS positions where people get on and off the bus, also adding data based on parameters such as weather, temperature and humidity, among others. The counting system consists of a Jetson Nano running a MobileNet V2 SSD network for person detection and a tracking algorithm in conjunction with a CSI camera placed in a zenithal position to obtain the images. Data acquisition and network training were performed entirely on the Jetson Nano. The results show that the developed system can process video at a resolution of 640x480 pixels at 30 fps, and can count passengers in different lighting conditions with an accuracy of 94%.","PeriodicalId":340976,"journal":{"name":"2021 IEEE CHILEAN Conference on Electrical, Electronics Engineering, Information and Communication Technologies (CHILECON)","volume":"35 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-12-06","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"115517075","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

On the other hand, several approaches have been designed with smart context and persuasive technologies for prevention and to help promote healthy sexual relationships through preventive and contextualized messages. Although there have been significant advances in the detection of risk situations with mobile devices, there is a lack of studies based on the theory of persuasion from a social psychology perspective. In this work, we developed a system to get strong arguments, based on a social psychology approach, with the aim to improve the smart context and persuasive technologies for prevention. This system included a mobile application that generates strong arguments by prompting users to write and then rate messages that promote healthy sexual behavior. Generating a database of strong arguments has relevance for future public health campaigns and smart context Apps that promote healthy behavior. Furthermore, this work suggests how technological characteristics can be mixed with social psychology in an interdisciplinary investigation.","PeriodicalId":340976,"journal":{"name":"2021 IEEE CHILEAN Conference on Electrical, Electronics Engineering, Information and Communication Technologies (CHILECON)","volume":"64 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-12-06","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"131747614","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Trading mechanisms have been improved by the incorporation of Distributed Ledger Technologies, mainly Blockchain, offering transactions with improved security, and reduced cost, among other benefits. The study of the implementation of Distributed Ledger Technologies as part of Microgrid Transactive Energy Systems has been narrowed down to the use of Blockchain as trading platform, given the maturity and global acceptance of the technology. Nonetheless, other existing Distributed Ledger Technologies, such as IOTA, Tempo, Holochain, Hashgraph, offer significant improvements in transaction cost, scalability and latency. Therefore, this paper presents the implementation and simulation of an IOTA Tangle based micromarket looking forward to increase the research efforts in other Distributed Ledger Technologies, besides Blockchain. A successful simulator is presented, which offers the possibility of evaluating the results and convenience of implementing a microgrid energy manager based on IOTA Tangle.","PeriodicalId":340976,"journal":{"name":"2021 IEEE CHILEAN Conference on Electrical, Electronics Engineering, Information and Communication Technologies (CHILECON)","volume":"30 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-12-06","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"131299989","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The physical process is modeled considering the presence of uncertainties, and an uncertain switched system is developed based on energy constraints in the behavior of the DoS attacker. Three different control strategies are addressed to mitigate the effects of the malicious agent, the use of a packet of different controllers, the application of a single fixed gain, and the possibility to set the input to zero during the attack. A numerical experiment is performed to illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed approach in following the desired reference signal, even with communication constraints.","PeriodicalId":340976,"journal":{"name":"2021 IEEE CHILEAN Conference on Electrical, Electronics Engineering, Information and Communication Technologies (CHILECON)","volume":"51 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-12-06","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"116922880","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
