Both of these aspects are studied with positive and negative connotations. The article considers for the first time the specifics of the existence of feminist art in the terminology of art history. The purpose of this study is to determine the features of the functioning of feminist art in the art criticism terminological system. The basis of this study are the method of definitional analysis with elements of the semasiological method. In accordance with the put forward in the course of this study hypothesis, feminist art serves as the basis for the formation of a separate microfield within the art history terminological system.
