Green logistics is closely related to the overall logistics development based on the awareness of sustainable development. Taking Fujian Province as an example, we construct the evaluation index system of logistics development to evaluate the results of green development. After standardizing and dimensioning the evaluation index data with SPSS, the score of logistics development level in Fujian from 2014 to 2019 is obtained by using principal component analysis, and the development of green logistics in the region is evaluated based on the proportion of energy consumption of logistics industry during this period. The results show that the development of green logistics in this region is in a good direction, and the logistics industry presents sustainable development.","PeriodicalId":340622,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Environmental Sustainability and Protection","volume":"62 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-03-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"114570991","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The coupling degree of the 13 cities in Jiangsu reveals the spatial pattern to propose countermeasures and suggestions. The results show that the comprehensive level of urbanization presents a stepped municipal spatial pattern of “the southern is higher than the central region and the central region is higher than the northern”. The spatial pattern of the urban ecological environment is observed in two extreme cities, while the other cities are not significantly different. The degree of coupling and coordination between them has reached a high level of coupling, showing a spatial pattern of “stepped down to the north to the north”. Finally, we propose targeted development strategies for different levels of regions.","PeriodicalId":340622,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Environmental Sustainability and Protection","volume":"23 10 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-03-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"130632344","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

With the number of patents as the index of innovation capacity measurement and the data from the Statistical Yearbooks from 2008 to 2017, we explore the spatial differentiation of innovation capacity in Jiangsu, China. Spatial clustering analysis and spatial autocorrelation analysis are used for this research. The result shows that the innovation capacity of 13 cities in Jiangsu is categorized into four levels. The gradient innovation capacity is weakened significantly from the south to the north in space. Jiangsu province has the distribution of regional innovation capacity level as the characteristics of spatial agglomeration. However, the province also has the characteristics of stage evolution, which shows the trend of aggregation, dispersion, and reagglomeration. The research results have important implications for optimizing the regional innovation system in Jiangsu Province.","PeriodicalId":340622,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Environmental Sustainability and Protection","volume":"25 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-03-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"121751255","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In this study, the dynamic degree model of cropland use was introduced, combined with the geographic detector method, to explore the spatiotemporal variation characteristics and main driving factors of cropland in various towns in Dangyang City from 2000 to 2020. The results showed that the distribution of cropland generally showed a decreasing trend from southeast to northwest. From 2010 to 2020, the cropland in Dangyang City changed significantly, and the cropland area decreased. Economic and social factors turn out to be the main factors affecting the distribution of cropland. When interacting with other factors, the impact on cropland is weakened, and natural factors have interactive effects on cropland.","PeriodicalId":340622,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Environmental Sustainability and Protection","volume":"144 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-03-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"133074983","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

However, at present, there has been little research on the accessibility of pocket parks. Based on the theory of space syntax, pocket parks in Xuzhou old city are selected as the research object. From three dimensions of global integration, local integration, and perceived integration, the accessibility of pocket parks in Xuzhou old city was quantitatively evaluated by Depthmap software. The results showed that (1) the global accessibility and local accessibility of pocket parks in the study area were good, but the distribution of some pocket parks was \"misaligned\" with the road network layout and (2) the perception accessibility of some pocket parks is low, and the whole road network is perceived through the local road network structure. As a result, many people cannot find the park quickly even if they are close to the green space of the park. Because of the existing problems of pocket parks in Xuzhou old city, we put forward optimization suggestions to increase the accessibility measure of pocket parks in Xuzhou from a humanistic perspective and provide a basis for the distribution of urban pocket parks.","PeriodicalId":340622,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Environmental Sustainability and Protection","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-12-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"123373045","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Economics approaches it from two perspectives: the traditional neoclassical approach (environmental economics) and another, more comprehensive one, where different sciences converge (ecological economics). This work offers a critical review of conventional economic theory associated with sustainable development, also highlights the need to assign values to environmental services for better decision-making, in which individual and social preferences are considered, thereby it would advance towards the central goals of sustainable development: economic efficiency, social justice, and ecological sustainability. This paper’s main contribution and novelty are to frame a discussion about the controversy between the various disciplines involved in the commensurability of nature. The sustainable development of the Yangtze River Economic Belt (YEB) has essential significance for the development of China. In this paper, 11 provinces and cities in the YEB are taken as the research object, and the analytic hierarchy process is used to construct an evaluation index system for the sustainable development capacity of the YEB from the three aspects of the economy, society, and ecology, and quantifies the sustainable development capacity of the 11 provinces and cities. The results show that the overall level of sustainable development capacity of the YEB in China is low, the gap between provinces and cities is large, and the differences between provinces and cities with high levels of sustainable development are more pronounced. The economic, social, and ecological subsystems imply that scientific research and technological progress are essential components of the sustainable development index of the YEB and one of the essential means to promote the sustainable development of the YEB in the future. The economic development level, urbanization rate, and greening rate of provinces and cities also play an essential role.","PeriodicalId":340622,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Environmental Sustainability and Protection","volume":"13 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-12-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"128750121","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
